Who was worse, Mordecai or Rigby?

Rigby

Mordecai

Rigby earlier on, Mordecai later

Both

Mordecai

Worse under which aspect?

Who ultimately had a more negative effect on those closest to them? Intent is also a factor.

Rigby deliberately prevented Mordecai from entering his dream college so that he'd not be alone by lying and faking a rejection letter.

This is enough for me to make Rigby the worst in general.

Is it the relationship stuff?

This, Rigby's a tard in the beginning of the series, but near the end Mordecai ends up being a turbo autist

What were Regular Show threads like?

Oh man oh man, were they a rollercoaster ride.

Much like the early At threads, they were exciting and fresh. This was before everyone complained about Calarts or its aesthetic, and the whole "hipster cartoon" thing didn't really have traction. it was a breath of fresh air.

But then, the general became a thing, and things got crazy fast. Rigby gore, gay shipping like you wouldn't believe, rule violations everywhere, tripfag worship,.it was madness. Mods had to intervene more than once.

After that, the threads kinda went into hiding. No one wanted all that crazy shit back, and so when they began to re-emerge, they did so slowly. We were all so paranoid of the crazies coming back, We'd sage bomb our own threads to kill them just to ensure they wouldn't stay too long and attract them back. Things kid of reached an odd, happy equilibrium. Drawfags like Ridley, MetalGearHUE and FriedKeyboard kept the OC train chugging along, and thigns were pretty fun.

Then, some idiots decided life wasn't spicy enough without drama. Come around the time Emmies were being awarded, RS and AT fans began to go at each other's throats for no apparent reason other than to create drama. it was wholly artificial, with no one side provoking the other. Looking back, I wouldn't be surprised if it was some Sup Forums tier IRC shitposting cabal, the way it was so repetitive and calculated. This is when a lot of people, including me, left.

i can't tell you much after that, but when it was fun, it sure was fun. probably some of the most fun I've had on this site.

>gay shipping like you wouldn't believe
There's a good reason the majority of the porn pairs up Mordecai & Rigby, the first 2 seasons legitimately exuded a kind of frustrated homoerotic relationship between the protagonists, or at least a one sided unrequited feeling from Rigby to Mordecai. Rigby was shown as getting jealous at Mordecai's interests in Margret, totally dismissive of female companionship himself, fiercely competing to have Mordecai attention, and they spent every day together and slept in the same room.

Obviously most of is written away in later seasons, but it's still strikingly noticeable at the beginning. It was never a huge stretch of the imagination to figure their relationship as homolove between each other.

SugarKills, pls

I don't know who that is, but episodes like Do Me a Solid and It's Time have noticeable undertones of jealousy over the other's attention.

Oh no, I know, Like I said, I was in the old threads. I've heard every Morby theory under the sun, from the reasonable to the utterly insane.

As for Sugar, she was a drawfag who put out a ton of decent content, but buy, did she go crazy toward the end of the first RSG era.

Whoa, thanks for the info dump. Kinda got mixed feelings about missing out on it now.

it was a fun ride.

Rigby had his off days, but they mostly came down to it all being caused by Mordecai. Don't even get me started on that guy's love life

it hasn't even been that long

Regular show and the threads that espoused it began eight years ago, user.

yea but in general the question included all threads

and it wasn't eight, it was six, maybe if cn didn't pat themselves on the back for having the show run so long and say it was a 7 year run while actively making sure it never made it that long, people wouldn't make that mistake

I never really paid the show much attention until last month. Just finished the whole series a few days ago and finally watched the movie this morning.

Watching the movie in 2017 defeats the purpose of watching the movie itself.

I take it it should've been watched pre-dome era?

No it should've been watched in the 80s in your college dorm.

Well, yeah.
Any movie of a television series should be watched either between the seasons that it came out during or whenever it's set if it's a prequel type thing.
What's wrong with you?

Muscle Man centric episodes are the cancer of the series

The character himself is great, but when an episode is dedicated to him it Fucking sucks

...

The problem was that there were just sooo mannny of them. For a while it felt like every other episode was centered on some retarded muscleman drama. Meanwhile characters like Thomas get introduced and basically shoved into a closet immediately after hardly ever to be seen again.

This, Rigby grew up off screen then on-screen, Mordecai regressed on screen.

I lack viable ambitions.

Understandable.
If you plan on rewatching it all, I'd recommend googling when it's supposed to be watched.

What do you think of Close Enough so far, Sup Forums?

I'm still waiting for the lewd art of him doing that to her tits.

uwu what's this

>brain can't decide between reading it in their voices or Super Troopers' voices

...

So how well received was season eight as a whole?

Couldn't have been as much of a mess as season 3

Mordecai's a self-insert of the show's creator, right? You think everybody turning on Mordecai and calling him fucking retarded ever messed with the guy?

S3 was good
S8 was trash except for the bumpy start and bumpy end

I doubt it. I think Mordecai stopped being as much as a self insert in the final seasons when they were just groping for ideas to move the show forward. The whole fiasco with Mord's relationships in the last few seasons showed they really didn't have any real master plan for the whole thing.

>Season 3
>Mess
Thats not season 6

>I don't know who that is
That's exactly what SugarKills would say!

Was is Margaret so boring compared to almost every other female character in the series, even extras.

They never really explore her to the extent of everyone else in regards to her getting into very wacky adventures.
