Zebra Girl. It's rough in the beginning and that's putting it mildly but it gets its shit together midway through and the character development is so fucking gratifying.
Unsounded. Nearly every character no matter how little screen time manage to seem fully realized.

Like previous user mentioned, Unsounded is great.

Kill Six Billion Demons is fun but, while you can enjoy it standing alone, you get the most out of it by consuming all the associated lore which can be a pretty big investment.

I enjoy Widdershins, which manages to pretty consistently entertain.

BACK is good.

Thanks! I'll keep your recommendation in mind.

Is that Praugerace? It reminds me of the art.

Other then that I've got nothing. I use to read webcomics all the time but slowly started dropping them. Gunnerkrigg and Kill Six Billion Demons where good though. I keep meaning to catch up, but it's almost been a year.

Devil's Gun isn't super far in, and I have no fucking idea what's going on in the plot, but the fights and monster designs are pretty cool.

Red Belt's also pretty solid if you don't mind the art-style looking surrealist and enjoy tokusatsu.

Yeah it's prague race. It hasn't been updated in a while though unfortunately. :/

I rarely read any webcomics because I don't know where to find those few good ones. That's why I came here because most popular = good maybe??

Here's a list I saved from a previous thread
Don't know how updated it is nor can I guarantee the quality of everything on here, but hey it's worth a shot I guess

Please tell me the big hairy demon lovingly annihilates that little twink butt

Haha, nah it's just Toska from prague race just casually having a conversation with Colin.

It Hurts!

Kill Six Billion Demons

>hasn't updated in a while
Well that's a shame.

Also half the reason I stopped reading webcomics, I hated reading something only for updates to take forever or stop completely.

Anyway go off the list in Don't know how many of those comics are still updating but they're solid recommendations.

Ava's Demon is fantastic- and still updating- and Hemlock was enjoyable if only for the art.

>In a while
...Well, relative to PragueRaces weekly updates, yeah. It hasn't been updated since April 10th.

For me I'm always able to bear the waiting. Always Raining Here was one, and Prague Race is steadily becoming another waiter but I always check up on it once or twice a week. Idk, I especially get prone to attachment of any webcomic I like.

>no Skadi
>no Camp Weedonwantcha

The Specialists is a pretty cool independent superhero webcomic.

There's a lot of character interaction and development over the course of the story thus far.

In addition to Gunnerkrigg, KSBD, Ava's Demon, here are my next favourites:

-Octopus Pie, slice of life, very long arcs

-All John Allison's works: Scary Go Round, new Bobbins, Bad Machinery, Giant Days (original on web now in print)

-Widdershins, pre-Victorian light magic

-Derelict, survival sci fi

-The Property of Hate, unconventional hero

-The Bouletcorp, journal comic short form, different topic each update

-Scurry, survival without humans

-Christopher Baldwin's works in part, especially Space Trawler

You can't go wrong with unsounded. But for something really different, the law comic is like an undiscovered gem.

Derelict is ded IIRC

Also lackadaisy, if it would just update more than once a season.

Comics that showed promise, then sucked forever, but are starting to possibly maybe show promise again? Dresden codak and questionable content.

Outsider and String Theory are great comics. They just have the problem of tricky schedules. I have hope for Outsider though, since the author actually updated four times in the last week.

>have what I think is a really good webcomic
>only a few dozen people read it
>they all seem to really like it
>but I started it when my art was shit
>probably the major thing that prevented it from getting good word of mouth
>still think it's a really solid story

It's on hiatus now. Working on a lot of other projects, improving my art. I wonder if I can relaunch it when I come back from hiatus and get the recognition I feel it deserves.

Maybe not though.

Author announced he'll return in summer, so hiatus, not dead
>Scrubdiving
For an explicit porn comic it had surprisingly good characters
>hated reading something only for updates to take forever or stop completely.
Yeah, that's all too common. The long story comics least likely to hiatus are (not necessarily all worth reading, mind): Gunnerkrigg Court, John Allison's Scarygoround, Schlock Mercenary, and Chris Baldwin's Space Trawler. These creators have a long track record of an excellent work ethic.
brave, but I quite liked both DC and QC very early on, but gave up due to (DC) unreliable updates and plot breakdown, (QC) not funny anymore, far better alternatives
Scurry's an example of well drawn comic with too few patrons to survive independently ($360 per month, ranked 450 out of 7000 webcomics), and there are many similar quality reliable webcomics in the bottom 50% by patreon ranking.

Rising Sand has amazing art

Beryl is jelly as fuck right now.
