It's actually not that dated from what I remember. The oliver shit was pretty obnoxious when I rewatched it, but overall the show held up to its coziness.

One of the funniest scenes that sticks out to me, I think it was during the Oliver crap, was when they all go to a concert, Seth keeps trying to get a beer and failing, and Ryan just walks up, is immediately accepted, and gets two.

My best friend's name was Ryan too which was always slightly ironic. I legitimately am not sure I've ever been more flattered by a compliment in my life. Ryan was the fucking man. Also, ironically enough, my girlfriend was actually murdered when I was 19, so she died just like Marissa as well.

I'm scared to rewatch this show. Was madly in love with my girlfriend. Together for 2 years and she was randomly killed. Fucking sucked. We would skip school and hang out all day in her bed watching this show and cuddling and make out. Between the nostalgia, the somewhat parallel storyline that semi-coincides with my life, and the absolutely amazing soundtrack, I don't know if my soul could take rewatching this. Gonna torrent it and just let it sit for a while and maybe one day I'll sack up and try watching it.

It's on Hulu, I remember in High school I had bought all the DVDs but they're long gone by now.
It really is a nice escape from reality, and I like how the show still manages to poke fun at itself and the absurdity of their lives.
