Logic brings no profit.
Friendly reminder that the original series did everything better.

>that one time Quark outlogiced a Vulcan in a jail cell
>Lorca is from the mirrorverse, where he failed to assassinate the Emperor, got pursued by their Burnham, managed to kill her and to somehow find a way to our universe and replaced our Lorca (who died alongside his men on that previous ship, like a captain should). Then he recruited our Burnham and gained her trust for the sole purpose of returning to his own universe and having another shot at the Emperor. Who btw is that Jap Captain and a (grand?)daughter of Hoshi.
is that true?
Don't forget the racist, homophobic and puppykiller part.
Daily reminder no person alive has been able to prove anyone in this image did anything wrong. It is impossible.
Indisputable uniform power rankings:
Picard's Open Jacket (Elder God Tier)>DS9>TNG v2(collared)>VOY>TOS >TMP>Santa suit from the Kirk movies>ENT>>>>>>TNG v1(spandex)
I liked ENT uniform, they were intended to be a thowback to NASA jumpsuit it fitted well with the "we're pioneers" stuff
I finally finished Voyager after seeing TNG and DS9, it feels pretty shitty knowing there's no more Trek that takes place in that timeframe now. I feel kind of empty.
All that's left is Enterprise, TOS and Discovery, none of which I have high hopes for
>Kathryn "launch the biogenic weapons" Janeway
>nothing wrong
What about TOS Terran Empire?
The fact that the list includes the Gorn, Nazi Planet man, and Kai Winn didn't tip you off to the fact that it's just one big shitpost?
>TMP uniforms over pic related
really now
>Gorn, Nazi Planet man, and Kai Winn
unironically and not even memeing here, they did nothing wrong.
DS9 were such warm and fuzzy feelings. Ent is doable. Shun STD like aids.
>Kathryn "Destroy the hub and kill a billion borg" Janeway.
>just cut off the sleeves and add a sash around the waist, because pirates
eh, hologram Janeway was the first that caught my eye
The Doctor episodes like that were the best.
...
I like the movies, but for me there's just something inherently dated about those uniforms. For some reason it bothers me more than the TOS shirts.
I can't put it into words but it's like they were made for the elderly
Forgot to add that I love pretty much all the other costuming choices from that era, like the winter jackets and such.
I just can't shake the feeling that the red uniforms are designed to keep an elderly person tucked in and warm.
I like TNG s3-7 more than DS9 but I really like DS9 uniforms too.
DS9 uniforms are great.
Let's see what we've got here
>Remmick
He himself, no. But he was compromised by the alien symbiote which makes him guilty by association.
>Cartwright
Nope, keeping the Federation at war with the Klingons was a bad call.
>Janeway
Blew through the Delta Quadrant like a hurricane.
>Sela
Interfered with the Klingon civil war.
>Seska
Allied with the Kazon. A poorer judge of character there isn't.
>Lore
Sold out the colonists to the Crystalline Entity.
>Lwaxana
DON'T GET ME STARTED
>Gowron
Subverted Martok to achieve his own ends in war.
>Mirror Ezri
Dyke.
why is he so handsome, lads?
What about the Nemesis uniforms? They remind me of high school marching band.
>the fuck is this abomination
and why is it on my /trek/ thread?
>Mirror Ezri = Dyke.
You're saying it like it's a bad thing, her being so agressive and wickedly smart makes her super sexy, even for me.
>You're saying it like it's a bad thing
Don't let the door hit you on the way out tumblr
In other words, nothing wrong.
Currently watching TNG Transfigurations
>be Geordi
>working with a team on a shuttle craft
>Dr Crushers newest alien pet enters, starts fucking around
>security team enters and Worf does a double front flip off the second level
>Crusher pronounces Worf is dead
>tight close up of my face, zero emotion on my face
Why did Geordi hate Worf so much?
he wanted to be the only black guy in TNG
or just manlet rage
Honestly, I think I would prefer a boss like Sisko rather than Picard. I love Jean-Luc but I feel that he would be very boring and predictable to serve under, in the "day-to-day interaction" aspect. It would probably be easy to figure out the routines and the best ways to goof off and shirk responsibility. I get the impression that Sisko is a bit more wily and would keep his staff on their toes.
Sisko is also a lot harder to read. Sometimes you can't tell if he's geniunely joking/laughing along with you, or if he's really just fucking with you and is about to tear into you like tissue paper.
Getting reprimanded by Picard would make you feel ashamed
Getting reprimanded by Sisko would make you feel intimidated
Getting reprimanded by Kirk would make you feel emasculated (or aroused, depending on how you swing)
...
Geordi's visor can play audio.
Most of the time he's not even paying attention, just listening to music.
Why didn't Voyager explore Warp 10 again after the whole lizard mishap ended?
The warp itself worked perfectly, instantaneous transport to anywhere in the universe, and they found a way to counteract the weird side effect later on.
>that one times Stewart snapped on the set and said that he felt like a slave in a cotton field while Levar Burton and Michael Dorn were there
Your plot fails to account for how much of a mary sue burnham is.
Mirrorverse Burnham is the secret emperor, and current lorca is mirrorverse lorca coming back from exile with alter burnham, the only mary sue strong enough to defeat her
>captcha: select shirley
Which one is Shirley?
I love him so much
...
>That one time Stewart compared doing any of the Wesley scenes to being forced to do a rape scene in front of Marina Sirtus
What about the Motion Picture gray spandex.
Last for me.

Both
So I finally decided to watch STD. I feel insulted as a Star Trek fan.
>The Federation's never encountered a species with a cloaking device before! Except for the Suliban. And that one minor race that nobody remembers called the Romulan Star Empire WHO WE HAD A FUCKING WAR WITH
>And let's just casually shatter our Neutral Zone treaty for shits and giggles
>While we're at it, we'll just throw out the laws of physics as well
>Too bad Voyager didn't have a Spore drive or they would have been home in a wee-ohhhhhh
>But Captain, if you kill him you'll make him a martyr!
>Kills him less than 4 minutes later
>Apparently there's never been any mutineers in the entire history of Starfleet
>Why the fuck is there a cadet actively serving onboard a classified Starfleet ship?
>Apparently Klingons rape their prisoners now
>Remember all those hundreds of memorable species we've encountered before now? Nobody knows them so let's get this gangly motherfucker to be the XO. He can sense death y'know
>Time loop episode already
>Let's just beam up this space whale, despite the Prime Directive forbidding us from interfering in a species natural development
And that's only the shit that I can remember. There is absolutely no respect for the series history here whatsoever.
TOS is star trek. It's only after TOS that you truly get trek. It's really special. It's like the wailing wall for trekkies, you've gotta see it at least once.
>STD first announced
>writers and producers will be Bryan Fuller, Nicholas Meyer, Joe Menosky, and other names associated with previous Treks
>gets closer to release date
>Bryan Fuller steps down for reasons we still don't know
>suddenly the writers and producers are these Jewish names I've never heard of before who have never made Trek before in their lives and have never watched it either
>And that one minor race that nobody remembers called the Romulan Star Empire WHO WE HAD A FUCKING WAR WITH
They didn't have a real cloaking device until "Balance of Terror"
I'm sorry user but no matter how much you hate it, ENT is canon
I know this isn't pol but goddamn it I hate it when the kikes ruin everything
Ok I hate STD as much as anybody but those are quite ridiculous:
>While we're at it, we'll just throw out the laws of physics as well
well star trek never was hard scify to begin with it as always contradicted with a lot of basic science (like, remember that devolution episode in TNG with worf the crab and Picard the lemurian ?)
>Apparently there's never been any mutineers in the entire history of Starfleet
well aparently yes 'member that one episode in TNG when an admiral tested an experimental cloak and there was a mutiny on board ? picard was beyond shock and he started pressuring Riker for answers
>Why the fuck is there a cadet actively serving onboard a classified Starfleet ship?
why the fuck is there a kid like wesley at the helm of the federation flagship ? I mean that was even stupider than a cadet in engineering
>Apparently Klingons rape their prisoners now
So, without spoil for the few who cares and because this isn't sure yet even tho that's beyond obvious and I can't believe that the writters thought this was a good plot twist, it wasn't rape and it's explained.
>>Let's just beam up this space whale, despite the Prime Directive forbidding us from interfering in a species natural development
Prime directive doesn't aply to spaceborn and spacefaring species
Can someone post the TNG episode guide with the funny episode summaries that rates them from bad to great? Thanks in advance.
...
Is this seriously what happened in the latest episode?
...
No. Nobody is confirmed to be long-term infiltrators from the Mirrorverse.
I still want to know if Lorca's from the mirror universe
Did you really think something as exciting or interesting as that would happen in an episode.
It's going to end like the other mirrorverse theory, with the audience thinking of something a thousand times better than what's going to happen.
is it wrong to despise ryker?
he always seems so unnecessarily smug and full of himself
If he was, I think he would have been more familiar with the agony booths. Also he wouldn't have had to be told that he wasn't the captain of the Discovery.
disliking Riker is a sin
>For god's sake, Gene, I'm not a fucking nigger!
>full of himself
Oh, he's full of something alright ;)
He's a "good guy" in the mirror universe, a revolutionary trying to overthrow the emperor. Some space magic occurred, and he got transported into the real universe. Maybe killed the Prime Lorca.
He's now trying to finish his mission. This explains his obsession with Burham,
>Hey, I played a slave on TV! You know nothing of my plight!
>it's a no-name background character is the only to die episode
Join Starfleet faggots.
>No Mirror Episodes
TNG and VOY's legacy will never be tarnished.
for the kinda racist comment it was at the end of a long day of shooting and the director was harassing Stewart for a line that apparently he was having trouble to deliver properly at some point he snapped and had this phrase about slaves and cotton field. He latter apologized to everyone that could have felt insulted
>it's the member of the main cast suddenly falls in love in a just introduced character episode
>Voyager
>legacy
lol
Voyager was unironically Star Trek at its peak.
Sissyboys here only don't like it because it had 0 male eye-candy.
You can't prove me wrong.
TNG does have a pretty silly (and stupid good) Mirror Universe comic series.
ummm, sweaty....
Well it can't be the "regular" mirror universe, Spock caused the Terran Empire to collapse.
>well star trek never was hard scify to begin with it as always contradicted with a lot of basic science (like, remember that devolution episode in TNG with worf the crab and Picard the lemurian?
I'm not saying Trek has always had great writing but there's a difference between making evolutionary leaps because you've run out of ideas and completely ignoring the Law of Relativity/Pauli Exclusion Principle
>well aparently yes 'member that one episode in TNG when an admiral tested an experimental cloak and there was a mutiny on board ? picard was beyond shock and he started pressuring Riker for answers
It's just utterly ridiculous how Burnham is referred to over a dozen times as 'the only mutineer in history.' Like what, nobody decided to jump ship and get some Orion slave girls? Suspension of disbelief gone
>why the fuck is there a kid like wesley at the helm of the federation flagship ? I mean that was even stupider than a cadet in engineering
I see why you draw the parallel but remember that Wesley was only an acting ensign with Picard's discretion. Non-commissioned Starfleet cadets are not posted to secret ships
>So, without spoil for the few who cares and because this isn't sure yet even tho that's beyond obvious and I can't believe that the writters thought this was a good plot twist, it wasn't rape and it's explained.
Well I'm not watching anymore so it doesn't matter what contrived explanation they pull out of their asses
>Prime directive doesn't aply to spaceborn and spacefaring species
Yes it does, established in TNG's Galaxy's Child
Which of DS9's mirror episodes is your favorite?
I watched a lot of Voyager and I like it better than ENT or STD but objectively it had writing problems. They didn't know if Janeway was meant to be a gentle, caring mother to the crew, or a violent renegade that doesn't give a fuck about the rules and kills everything in sight. Then they had weird episodes, like the Luau party. Also, Neelix. EMH is the best character and his dynamic with 7of9 saves the show. Chipotle, Tom and Kim are shit characters.
Link? Sauce?
people here prefer unseasoned pale chodes
their virgin bussies could never handle the BNAC
I think it's the right one. In the comic the Terran Empire is in shambles and being attacked by Cardassians and Klingons.
Google it, negroid
it is, the terran empire is on the verge of collapse in face of the kling/cardies alliance and only control sol system and it's surrounding

here, user. 5 issues currently
JUST
How do we save her?
She started being harsher/more selfish in season 5/6.
It was more noticeable with her and Seven.
I still liked her and her weird voice, though.
She did nothing wrong.
>Currently
Wait, is it an ongoing? Is it being written now? Or is that all that's been uploaded?
I agree.
(Picard = Sisko > Kirk) > Janeway > Archer > Lorca
ongoing, 5th issue came out fairly recently.
preach it, brother.
pica related, whyte bitch thirsty and wet for the BNAC
Post most logical moments.
Wow. Can't believe there's actually someone trying to write good Star Trek.
...
How is it possible that a 14 year old video game is able to do a better job with the Mirror Universe than the official tv show?
>tfw read it as Shatnered Universe
wtf
Has anyone got those episode guides that used to get posted here? I had them before but my hard drive got wiped.
do you think they ever had carnal relations while on board?
see
link at the bottom
the TNG one is here there's a link to the rest (well, TOS and DS9 at least) at the bottom.
yes and I will not accept any other answer
