More like love this one but whatever

this fat girl always wanted to watch this with me

The thinking man's kino shunned by retarded plebs.

>movies that only you like' thread.
Do you not know how to read?

yep. That was kino. A bit too stupid in someties but come on, it's a movie with a fucking space monster on the poster

my man

Still haven't seen it bur I don't think there's a Mann film I haven't liked.

I thought this was called blackhat

...

It is, but that looks like a french poster. It probably had a different name for international relief.

I really liked Terminator Genisys for the schlocky Arnie humor, but I know I'm not alone because the friend I watched it with also liked it.
Same for Yagesbaro.

It's Mike Hat.

...

...

First day here, rookie?

Dredd was awesome.

...

This was truly kino. Shame we'll never get a sequel.

it was called Cyber in my country.
They should have just called it "my little wet power fantasy", though

I’ll never stop shilling this movie.

*Le* hacker

The Myth of the American Sleepover

This is a good movie though

tv series in the works,i still wanted the sequels they sounded pretty cool, the second one focusing on the hoverboard racing scene and the third involving the dark judges IIRC

>tfw no apocalypse war movie

I love the Cold War, and all films related to Cold War paranoia, the more Anti-Red paranoia the movie has the better.

This one was great. I must have watched it at least 5 times.

pirating now. You better not disappoint me user.

>let's make a movie about a hacker man
>ew gross nobody wants to see that
>what if hacker man is Chad though
>yes! i love hackers!

Only plebs hate La Femme Nikita, even the american remake with sex goddess Bridget Fonda is really good.

>Bressonian gestures

Gorgeous cinematography

Doing the same here, hope it is kino.

You are not alone, user. I liked it a lot, but could have been better.

>Michael Mann movie
>Not about the Chadliest Chad's in the universe

I really like this, except the soundtrack. Indie-type music is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

I'm going to let you in on some real kino anons: Roaring Fire

Miami Vice was kinda meh
pretty much the biggest cult movie nowadays. It even got some kinda petition for a sequel to be made.
Missed it because don't really like Jolie but I guess it's worth a shot. Love these Red Menace movies.
Same. It's better not to be a trap.

Fuck yeah. I saw this back in the day and thought it was awesome. I'm scared to rewatch it though :/

>the secret feels of walter mitty

Highlander II
The 13th Warrior
Olleana

Hard mode: Abel Ferrara movies that are not Bad Lieutenant
good movie

I remember being hyped about this, but being put off by the horrible reviews. Is it really good? Should I give it a chance?

...

Literally nothing happens. It's just talking.

>asia argento
I'll watch literally anything she's in.

Surveillance
Surfs Up
V for Vendetta

>Miami Vice was kinda meh
I liked everything except that hand held stuff and that was shockingly bad.

>biggest cult movie nowadays
2049 will top it very soon.

Damn, but is it good talking?

Yeah, it's pretty good talking. Still.

I have never met anyone who disliked V.

...

...

this except i am glad i saw the movie before reading the graphic novel though

I would call it "mature".
It's certainly a good movie but the one that only very few will like. The plot is very predictable but that's kinda of the point.

...

Hm everyone I talk to says its meh or doesn't make sense...

All right. I will watch it sometime. I had completely forgotten about it. I feel kind of nostalgic about that Sail trailer lol.

...

Never heard of it

first movie in this thread which really sucks. I guess we got a winner.
Chad's favorite movie #247

>THE SPICE MUST FLOW

It's at least worth watching. It's a bit of a classic tragic downfall story, but of course set in the US Southwest (mostly) in a modern context with mostly good acting, cinematography and some halfway interesting dialogue.

you are not alone. i fucking LOVE this movie.

What are some yakuza kinos?

one of my favorite mann films

...

I don't know that many but I've always liked Kitanos yakuza flicks. Boiling point, Violent Cop, Sonatine, Hana-Bi.

...

...

Real underappreciated Kino comin' through

This. Still remember Chads saying "It was a dope movie, but a fucking DiCaprio, man, I hate this fag".

fucking same

Rose Byrne is a great comedic actress. She should get more roles.

Do you guys think Dicaprio would have made a better Anakin?
I remember being pretty angry when his name was rumored for the role.

...

One of the best westerns ever made and nobody ever fucking talks about it.

...

...

day 1 blu ray purchase for me

It was objectively bad. I like that Mann casts waifus as leads though

It is underrated but pretty much everyone who has seen it liked it.
BTW, Guy Pierce has a ton of underrated movies in his filmography. I am still surprised that Memento became such a big deal and not just another "hidden gem".

I want to FUCK Xena!

>It was objectively bad
Why? Cinematography was nice and a plot is pretty coherent. Sound design is great. One of the few movies that got gunshots done right. It even has a few scebes with real bash commands before it was cool. Some scenes were a bit silly but nothing too criminal.

That Australian roadtrip movie has a pretty interesting premise

Was I wrong for liking it?

Repo Man 1984, my favorite.

But Sup Forums likes blackhat

I’ve posted about this movie here and nobody ever responds. I think it’s a great movie

Let's do the fingering, my friends.

And I mean genuinely, really liked it, not in an ironic "kino" way.

loved that. Intense as fuck first viewing.

I think the guys at Rebellion games bought the rights and want to make a series. Carl Urban is apparently very interested.

I didn't like it. BUT, I can honestly say that I've never seen anything like this movie ever again.
Mad Dog Time is another movie which doesn't look like anything else. Old Man Ebert said about it: "Watching “Mad Dog Time” is like waiting for the bus in a city where you're not sure they have a bus line."

...

I liked it until the whole doomsday garbage

It seems only my brother and I like this film. Most people just call it stupid and messy. Love the sounds, atmosphere and the story.

You ain't alone bruv, me and everyone I showed Pandorum to absolutely loved it
