I've only started watching it mostly as background noise since I live alone. It's not really good, its surprisingly more sexual and adult themed than I remembered as a kid (saw maybe an episode when it first came out). Why does everyone yell in this show

My favorite character is Louise. Mainly because of her tsundere attitude.

Ill admit, her BooBoo episode stirred something in me.

I torrented them. I have all of the seasons downloaded. Pretty sure Netflix took that show off like they have with so many other good shows. Replaced shows people actually like with absolutely shit-tier Netflix produced garbage.

Yea I live alone too and I almost mentioned in my OP that it's pretty great for background noise for whatever reason. That's the only thing that bothers me, it does get loud and shrill sometimes just for the sake of it. Definitely has quite a bit of sexual innuendo. Just today I've noticed, aside from the usual sexual themes, incest and beastiality sex jokes. Kinda taboo for a cartoon.

Honestly, I wouldn't know where to tell your friend to look for them. Those torrenting sites get taken down constantly, so I'm not even sure which ones are around anymore and which ones are safe. I would try TPB, but who knows? I've had them for well over a year now, so I don't remember exactly where I got them.

I like this show, it's the only one out there that caught the feel of Simpsons in its heyday. I also like that they sometimes keep the weather seasonally consistent so it can sometimes be cozy; the Halloween episode where they go looking for the wolf was like that, the backgrounds were surprisingly good (though the episode itself was weak).

Favorite episode was still Dr. Yap though. And I don't care how reddit or tumblr or whatever she is, I like Tina

Favourite character is Bob and then Louise. Don't really have a favourite episode. Bob's Burgers doesn't really have bad episodes but by the same token it doesn't really have any outright great episodes.
I guess O.T., Equestronauts, the Fischoeder water balloon fight, the Black garlic burger and all the Thanksgiving and Halloween episodes would be the highpoints.

This is a pretty good assessment. They don't have any out of control fantastic episodes, but they're all very watchable. I like A River Runs Through Bob too.

Bob's Burgers is great because it isn't afraid to play the fact the they are a (comparatively) functional and loving stable family. That alone in an animated comedy is enough to set it apart from the disgusting post-post-modern ironic irony shite we have shoved down our throats. It's helped fill the void early Simpsons and KoH left.
