How will Marvel Studios play Carol now, in this post DCEU Wonder Woman world? Will they try to make her iconic, or will they simply rely on their usual formula?

So Diana tops?

>don't care for DC movies
>despise Carol
Go Wondy I guess!

Probably the latter. It prints money.

>Will they try to make her iconic
Ever since she was announced as to having a movie, they've been touting her as marvels strongest and most powerful character.

This.

I want there to be more art of the original (DC) captain Marvel beating down the Marvel imitation with the same name.

18 better slaughter in two weeks

NuCarol sucks anyway.

Absolute shit taste.

>liking NuCarol

scumsucking retard

>pic
>implying
I like to think they'd be friends, in an Odd Couple sort of way.

They could stop trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, and just focus on the traits that make Carol Carol. It worked for Diana, after all.

>They could stop trying to fit a square peg into a round hole
This. Carol is a terrible person with alcoholic tendencies and a raging murderboner. Marvel would do better to treat her that way instead of this "She's so powerful and iconic.. you know?" bullshit they keep forcing.

Anons, I...

And ditch the ugly dyke haircuts.

...

...

Might as well. It is literally the only thing I like about her character. Get rid of that and my mind will completely block out every pic that shows up Sup Forums with her in it. It will be just blank spaces where her comic were, I will be better for it.

Cunt

...

Diana tops from the bottom

ok thats nice, depowering her.

>they've been touting her as marvels strongest and most powerful character.
The absolute state of Marvel Universe.

man if they had kept with carol is a shit person and her pr is all made up, i would have kept reading

>t.the one fag who spams the carol threads

Was it the first real misstep of the MCU not to make the first big female led film?

>I like to think they'd be friends, in an Odd Couple sort of way.
I like to think Diana would despise her. Thre's more poetry in that.

>They could stop trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, and just focus on the traits that make Carol Carol

What makes Carol great is to dark for the MCU

They're making the first good one.

>Mightiest hero on the planet

Marvel's standards has really fallen low hasn't it?

I think there's a very real risk that they will make her an insufferable Mary Sue

Oh no, you're one of those retards that think that Ms. Marvel is HARDCORE and Reed's run is "Miracleman" level

>Carol
>Good

lolno

fear
the
STRONG

>It's the anti-Reed fag
Just accept that Brian Reed's Ms. Marvel is the finest piece of superhero fiction in history, user.

Of course Wonder Woman would despise her. YASS QUEEN is a complete fascist

>Reedfags actually believe that

She is the Killer Frost of Marvel

I love how they all shit themselves when Wondy shows up

youtube.com/watch?v=n079MNojJJc

So we can say that the DCEU has the most popular female characters so far.

Wait till the Black Widow movie. And YAAS QUEEN female Hal Jordan will be excellent too.

Yes. Marvel has no faith in their female heroes

That's what I thought they were going for at first, that Carol is her usual asshole self, but everyone buys into the hype because she's got a god tier PR team. But nope, that would be interesting, so we can't have that.

Oh please, it wouldn't even be challenging to make this into a dark humor piece.

And for fucks sake, the new costume is cool as fuck, but why in the hell is it blue? Carol's colors have always been red, yellow, and black. Make it black, goddammit.

>it wouldn't even be challenging to make this into a dark humor piece.

Marvel hasn't been able to do it yet. They're to afraid to stray from their formula. It's why they had reshots for Doctor Strange adding shit humor

Is Carol really this much of a bitch all the time, or is this just people exaggerating and posting out of context?
And if she is, what's the best place to start reading Murderbitch?

Usually she tries her best to be a good person but she doesn't do well at it.

>Is Carol really this much of a bitch all the time, or is this just people exaggerating and posting out of context?
It is people trying to justify their interest in a bland character.

The run that supposedly shows her being a "trainwreck" is mostly slice-of-life and her going on dates The issues with alcohol lasted a couple of issues decades ago, but to these people, she is totally an alcoholic and this is an integrant part of her character, and so on.

All the best female Marvel heroes, for decades, have been X-Men. Once they started trying to minimize mutant characters, they realized they had to focus more on their other female heroes, who were either under developed or overly convoluted. Odd that they picked Carol to focus on, when she's both underdeveloped and super convoluted.

there was some very sexy stuff

god damn this episode made my dick hard. No wonder it became the whole idea behind the porn game which is so god damn slow in updates. I need to fuck Zatanna

yeah, MCU is 3rd place. And that's even considering how badly FOX treats the X-women.

Karla, pls.

>And if she is, what's the best place to start reading Murderbitch?
read Brian Reeds run. It's got some great stories like Cru, Moonstone arc, Superscrull murder, and a prequel story of her taking a sledge hammer to sandniggers

$.001 has been deposited into your account.

>just focus on the traits that make Carol Carol
Then she'd just be Tony Stark.

She would just be a charmless and female version of Hal Jordan.

Didn't she quit drinking?

Yes, that's why it's non-alcoholic vodka.

How many had to be nerfed for this to be true?

Nobody, Carol's always been incredibly powerful.

When did she become more powerful than Thor?

Not the strongest by any measure.

She was clearly much, much weaker than Clor and Hercules during Civil War.

She was mid range in the 80's. And constantly stated how she was not in the same strength class as Hulk, Thor and Namor.

Think outpowered her in the early 80's one time

She was in the class 50 area until a year or two ago when writers just ignored history.

After guy that talks to ants the movie and Andy Dwyer in spaaaaace the movie,

More like 5th misstep

True but for years I did wish Marvel would use Carol and Monica much more often. They are both pretty good to have on the Avengers as A-list female characters

I swear to god, if they have Carol defeat Squirrel Girl, I'm done with comics.

They're both great in Ultimates. Ewing deserves better than current Marvel editorial/PR.

>non-alcoholic vodka
So water?

I tend to think having the ultimates around sort of trivializes the Avengers. The floundering team that for a while only really consisted of sidekicks and the teen team was just not worth it.

this

based marvel will put out the first great female superhero movie that will make a billion at the box office and win oscars unlike Blunder Wymminz which will do neither and will get crushed by Mummy next week

Isn't it just going to be Carol beating the shit out of Karla for an hour and a half with quips?

>non-alchoholic vodka

how and why is this a thing

It's an actual thing. Probably explicitly for recovering alcoholics.

I wonder if Carol will be leading the Avengers again for Legacy. That seems where the MCU is headed, after all, and Alonso loves nothing more than chasing the MCU.

At this point we only know that she'll fight Kree Sentries at some point.

I thought Karla was already confirmed as a character in the movie

None of them are nor will ever be A-listers.

Carol and Monica together have fewer fans than Poison Ivy.

They will be when someone places them in a major book and makes them headlining characters.

Poison Ivy was a literal who until the Bruce Timm cartoon.

Carol will be, after her movie and Avengers 4.

>They will be when someone places them in a major book and makes them headlining characters.
Like they have been trying for years without success?

They will never be A-listers. The two put together are hardly B-listers.
