Has Diana's career as a superhero changed Themyscera's views on men?

Shes still Zeus bastard or back to clay now in rebirth?

Whatever happened to that All Star Wonder Woman by Grant Morrison thing?

Morrison OD'd and forgot about it.

...

He couldn't find any more ways to write in the mass rape of Amazons so he gave up.

Kind of, there are Amazons who still are wary of men and some who embraced coming to man's world as ambassadors. Just like in real life there are a variety of opinions.

Ironically one of the Amazons meant to represent the viewpoint of people afraid of integration was subsequently killed by men when Circe tried to frame the Amazons.

It became Wonder Woman Earth One.

It hasn't been stated either way yet.

All-Star WW was going to be by Adam Hughes, not Morrison.

I want her to abuse me.

mass rape you say?

excuse me

Gotta give props to whoever wrote and made this.

...

Hughes can't even get Betty & Veronica out on time. There's no hope for All-Star WW.

>As of October 2010, a page on his website indicated that after the current Catwoman series ended with issue #82, Hughes would cease his DC cover work, and focus on producing the six-issue All-Star Wonder Woman series.
It's still coming guys! Any day now!

The Wonder Woman graphic novel Hand of the Gods was supposed to come out in late 2011. Perhaps it would have been shelved anyway due to inconsistencies with DC's New 52 relaunch, but the arrest of artist Josue Rivera (who works under the pen name Justiniano) on child pornography charges probably makes that permanent. 2011 news.

"The Rape of Wonder Woman" is an unreleased comic book story written by famed Scottish writer Mark Millar, mostly known for his work on both Marvel and DC titles, such as DC's Wanted, Kick-Ass, Superman: Red Sons and Marvel's Ultimates, Old Man Logan. His career began in the 1990s with work on British magazines like 2000 AD and the Streets of Rage stories from Fleetway's Sonic the Comic.
>>"I pitched this to DC for a laugh years back. The idea was that, like Death of Superman, we had Rape of Wonder Woman; a twenty-two page rape scene that opened up into a gatefold at the end just like Superman did."

The comic's idea surfaced around 1993, the year of the mentioned Death of Superman arc and as well as the Batman arc "Knightfall" where the Caped Crusader got his spine broken by Bane and is forced to give the cape and cowl to Jean-Paul Valley, who would later become the violent Azrael. Despite Millar saying that the story was just a joke he had made, he mentioned the fact that DC Comics was actually considering publishing the story and already had an artist draw a sketch for the comic's first page.

This was meant to be DC's way of exploring a state of weakness to Wonder Woman in a similar vein to the Superman and Batman arcs; this comic would have served as a way to show a more aggressive Wonder Woman after suffering such acts in a similar way to the other arcs. However, the increase of rape allegations in the media and a lot of complaints in both DC's writing and art departments lead to the comic's quick cancellation.

This.

wtf

...

Why didn't he just land the fucking plane instead of sacrificing himself? Planes can land man. I get they don't want the bombs near people but he had taken out the two pilots, he was in control of the plane, just land it!

This isn't a movie thread so you should delete and use a spoiler tag, but the bombs were on a timer

>the bombs were on a timer
were they really?

I'm glad that the only female superhero finally has movie, and it's even the first movie starring a woman, and directed by a woman.
For the first time ever there exists a woman that can be looked up to.

Yes, they say it when they consider just grounding the plane.

Were they? So much was going on in that final part I may have missed it? Even if they were, that's retarded.

>Timers on plane bombs
>Word War 1 planes
>Where a gust of wind can completely fuck your arrival time.

Mark millar.

She deserves everything.

Sorry, somehow i missed that. Im a moron pls dont beat me up

I wish they would play up the Greek myth angle more, the Labors of Heracles are the origin of modern superheroes anyway. I do like that Batman's scared of her though.

What, like Thor but Greek?

>captcha is clay

I sort of agree and disagree. It's true that her Greek roots could be explored more, but that's also what left a lot of her mythos in the dustbin, unused for years (see: Azzarello's run)

Who would be strong enough to rape her? Do they make a character like Doomsday except instead of being a rage monster he has an uncontrollable libido?

...

Fuck the Injustice earth and it's evil Diana.

Pick your poison

pity i loved the art he did for days of vengeance.

IS that a trick question?

...

No. This is basically BS Millar made up after he left DC for Marvel and indies. There is a good reason Millar couldn't/didn't do as he claimed, he was largely living on a subsistence paycheck to paycheck level from DC with them sometimes advancing him money (this is why he was writing the Superman adventures comic in the first place) with a wife, health problems and probably kids.

The third one. First one fuck up the world. The second one fuck up the world by sucking Clark's dick and tempting him.
