We take a quick break of Delve to take a look at the patreon supported comics of the month starting with Gala. Where we are properly introduced to out mystery thief and to another intimidating fellow (and his goons).
In History of Hilla we get to see how the kingdom got broke.
In House Call we learn that you need a lot of urine.
In Galondria we got "Pocket Scorpions!"
Crystal Missionary Adventures give us an unexpected reunion.
And for the final backer comic Stella gets a lot of shit.
Back to Delve with fistbumps and gibberish.
Loot makes for a great weapon.
Poor basilisk, no one will treat it's heartburn.

I never would have pictured Crystal and Mendele in the same room, so now I'm really curious about their past meetings. Mendele seems wary of Crystal.

The state of medicine and science in the comic is interesting. Like there's something missing in the entire scientific concept they have developed.

Yeah, I'm not. I usually bring out the modifiers when there's a useful stat that can help that team member out of a jam. And the negative modifiers when there doesn't seem to be a way to avoid using a weaker stat.
And I am using real dice, for everything but monster selection where the numbers involved are large enough that it's easier to use a random number generator.
I have rerolled results, but only to tweak room contents, and NOT to change Team Zap's rolls. I have been surprised, and a little disappointed with the preponderance of nat 20s because I knew they were going to make everyone think I was faking it.
If/when I do another one of these I'm definitely going to restructure the roll system so there's some kind of progressing difficulty that gives the adventurers more or more difficult rolls as comic continues.
Roll 3d20 for how much damage Jalak takes if you do a Pyre Knights version.
