It literally always was shit from season 2 onwards. Mytharc was only interesting in season 1, before they went full retard with all the contrived family connections and whatever. MOTW episodes were always GOAT, on the other hand.

That's false though. The mytharc was good until the first movie.
And that's the mytharc as a whole - individual episodes of the mytharc were usually great, even in the later seasons. The overall story may have fallen apart, but the episodes themselves were good.

If I'm remembering correctly, it's the onewhere the rebel aliens burn abductees alive. The 2 scenes they do it in really shocked me when I first watched it, and have stayed with me since.
I also liked Spender and wished there was more of him, so I liked his presence in the episode.
