How do we fix them? (and other characters created in the 90s for that matter)

How do we fix them? (and other characters created in the 90s for that matter)

give them a gun

Leave them in Limbo

Between Damian, Jason, Dick, Duke, Jon, Kenan and nu Wally there's no point to any of them right now other than nostalgia

Kenan?

Kenan Kong, the Super-Man of China

He's a douchey Super-Chad like 90s Kon

also this kid

This. I love Bart so much, but I think him and the rest of Young Justice should remain in limbo until the next reboot or major event. If they do come back, DC would have to explain the existence of Bar Torr, clone of Jon Kent, and boy given the name of "Tim Drake" by witpro. I mean, they could argue that they were created by Dr. Manhattan, but then there comes another problem: that means there are two Barts, two Kons, and two Tims in the same universe. This, along with how many Robins, Flashes, and Superboys there already are, would make it far too confusing and convoluted.

How would Sup Forums feel about a Young Justice series not set in the main universe?

Bar is actually Inertia and nuSuperboy is the BizarroBoy. New 52 Tim is not Tim? Watafug?

I don't like this solution desu. It would let DC bring Bart, Kon, and Tim back, but they'd have to shit on Inertia, Match, and whoever Tim would be (I guess Scorn) to do so.

You could actually tell a really interesting story about Chris if he comes back remembering Clark and Lois and feeling like they replaced him with Jon

The whole adopted kid versus the biological kid complex

Rebirth already fixed Tim

Just ignore the nu52 runs of Teen Titans ever happened you autists

what did they do to Tim?

just put him back to being Zod's son, acting as a rival character to Jon

make Bart still Barry's grandson, but instead of him being from hundreds of years in the future like his original origin, make him his grandson from only 40-60 years later. He shows up in an event to show you he exists to help out, but goes back to his own time
Bar Torr is just Barry's descendant from hundreds of years later or what he saidI don't even want to touch the Super clones. What was New52 Superboy? a clone of Superman's son from the future?

Tim is being held prisoner by Mr.Oz for unknown reasons and everyone thinks he's dead. He'll get rescued eventually.
Superboy was an enhanced clone of Superman's son who died.

>let's shit on Chris to give Jon an antagonist
Go to hell

Nu52 Tim was not "Tim Drake." Instead, he was a random kid who was set to become a gymnast at the Olympics and was also a genius hacker that found out Batman's secret identity. But he hacked into Penguin's account and took his money. The Penguin found out who he was so he and his family had to go into witpro, who gave him a new name: "Tim Drake."

>What was New52 Superboy?
A clone of an adult Jon Kent, who became a supervillain. Harvest took Jon's DNA to create Kon, who he sent into the past to eliminate the Teen Titans.

I'll explain "Bart Allen" too
>"Bart Allen" isn't his name -- it's Bar Torr
>Bar comes from a future where Earth has been taken over by an atheist socialist regime that has outlawed religion under penalty of death
>Bar's parents continued to worship Christianity and so a death squad was sent to execute them
>Bar and his little sister -- oh yeah, he has a little sister now -- hid as they watched their parents be gunned down
>now Bar and his little sister lived on the streets, stealing to survive
>realizing that he can't support his sister with this lifestyle, Bar joins the very army that murdered his parents
>while on a transport mission in outer space, his spaceship is struck by a mysterious object, causing it to crash land on a nearby asteroid/planet
>everyone on board, except Bar, die from the crash
>chemicals they were transporting, mixed with the radiation from the mysterious object, spill onto Bar, giving him his super speed powers
>using these powers, he MASSACRES an entire barracks of soldiers
>he then leads a revolution against the regime, starting a civil war that causes millions of deaths
>learns that his supporters are killing innocents and, feeling bad about it, he becomes a double agent for the regime
>the regime then puts him in their own version of witpro, by sending him to the past with a new name: "Bart Allen"
>worst of all is that he gets with a girl instead of a cute boy

rival, not antagonist

Ignore the New 52 versions of all of them. Then iron out whatever's left for Tim.

Don't forget that that Jon was from another dimension.

No.

man that's stupid
i guess fanboy who gets to be the sidekick
lex and clark's clone
and speedster who wanted to meet his grandpa were too boring?

Tec has ignored all of that stuff for Tim and some of King's Grayson stuff has retconned in a lot of his old interactions with Dick

I think that's about as much as you can clean Tim. Unless he somehow merges with his various counterparts while in Mr. Oz's jail and get his own Tim Drake Reborn retcon

>Ignore the New 52 versions of all of them.
I wouldn't mind this, but I feel like this might be confusing for some readers. IMO, I think there needs to be a small reboot to explain their return, in order to remove any and all confusion.

Everyone has to has an angsty and broody backsory. I like how all of them are using fake names too, as if Scott Lobdell was trying his hardest to eliminate the identity of the original trio.

>douchey Super-Chad like 90s Kon
Wow that actually makes me want to read new-superman. I just assumed it was going to be like the boring black superman from new52 earth2

>tfw had a Superboy toy as a kid but I always hated him so always pretended it was Clark

Fire Bend.... I mean fire Johns.

You really should read it. It's great, Kon's a dick but he's getting better, without it feeling like forced character development. It's very much so a different take and does remind me a bit of classic 90s Superboy.

>Normal kid fighting along side gods.

Kill it with fire

Tim was doing just fucking fine right before the New 52 happened, and fucked it all up. He had his own identity, a pretty neat supporting cast, and I thought an interesting new direction to take his story in.

Red Robin was too good for this world.

Bring Kon back as a secondary mentor figure of sorts for Jon, who will inevitably begin unlocking and harnessing his tactile telekinesis crap.

>“BLACK DAWN” part five! The Man of Steel faces the one foe he refuses to fight—his son. An emerging new ability for Superboy proves deadly to Superman as the promise of power appears to lead Jon Kent to betray his father.

Better yet, let him have absorbed some of Superbro's death radiation somehow and obtain some of that young witty chad-ish behavior that would make broody angsty Kon an actually good character.

What toy? Superboy merch is rare

Jon has no character outside of being Clark's son and it'll stay that way for fucking years yet we can't have 2 Superboys running around because it was just so absolutely necessary to make him Superboy.

Seriously, I like Jon but couldn't he have just stayed as a non-hero character for a few more years so Kon didn't get put into limbo hell? He can't even fucking figure out his powers half of the time and by the looks of it they're forcing him to be a carbon copy of Clark because they need a foil for Damian. At least Kon had his own personality. Chris too.

>Jon has no character outside of being Clark's son
Jon has more character than Conner did after Geoff turned him into muh Lex. Kenan is what Conner once was and Jon is Superboy now so let Conner stay dead. He died a long time ago anyway.

Kenan is best boy

>Batman breaks into the prison where Tim is duirng after the Manhatan fight but he's gone
>Tim managed to escape from his prison because of plot during the chaos
>He got pulled into the timestream as he's about to be killed by debris
>Kon pulled him in because he needs help in the future
>Bar' Torr sent Kon to grab Tim because they need him to stabilize the timestream or all existence is destroyed
>The trio plus Solstice have adventures and save the timestream erasing Barrs future so he has nowhere to go
>They come back to Tims time with Kon, Bar' Torr and Solstice
>Drama happens Tim goes back to being Red Robin, Kon gets taken in by John or Martha's relatives and officially recognize by Supes as a cousin or something, Impulse gets an apartment with OG Wally Solstice goes to India or someshit to do humanitarian work
>Tim decides to start a Young Justice League with Bar' Torr(Impulse), Kon(No idea what he'll go by), Cassie Sandsmark(Wonder), Solstice decides to stay in India.

They're mostly a loose affiliation and maybe they'd run for only a few arcs but I'd like for Kon to go back to being goofy and funny for a while and team up with random superheroes, they'll mostly be handling underworld crime and shit. Tim starts a company to rival Wayne Tech but in reality he's doing it to clean up the business world. Shit like that.

>Still acknowledging Bar-Torr and sociopath Kon

No
