Why do comic book writers always favor Batman when it comes to supes vs bat?

bump

Human is more relatable to them, even though Superman is more human than bat brain.

batman is more popular

thats it

That and people like rooting for underdogs.

People find Superman uptight and boring.

Because Superman's powers are literally the cancer of storytelling

writers virtually always favor the underdog. its way harder to write a compelling story about someone beating the shit out of everyone weaker than them unless its a comedy

It's the obvious writers choice. What's more interesting? Having the power unstoppable god like character win? Or the mere mortal? It comes from a time BEFORE Batman beat Superman several times in many iterations . At this point now its been done to death.

Superman should win, easily, every time. Speed, strength, laser eyes, x-ray eyes, everything about him should just make him the victor. This is not a fun story to read. Guy with powers beats guy without? The more compelling story is to explore batman. The weight of taking on a god, the process at which to do it and finding ways to beat him.

At this point it needs to flip because batman is so damn unbeatable.

Because they are atheists who deny the true power of God and Jesus.

Because people want to see man triumph over the God

BvS favored Superman. How many threads are you going to make of this movie day after day?

So it's basically like a LOLCENAWINS Cena overcomes the odds ordeal?

> BvS favored Superman.
No it really didn't or else it wouldn't have focused so much on Batman defeating him.

I feel like original superman was the one punch man of his generation.
Everyone knew he was ridiculous and campy, but embraced it.
Instead of accepting that he's an over powered demigod, writiers have constantly tried to curb it and make him develop pathos, which I've always felt was a wrong headed approach. To me, Supes has always been a simple guy from Kansas, that took up superheroing because it was something that only he could do and why not? He likes people, therefore he helps them. People keep trying to add more depth to him than is really necessary. Because of that, Batman has become more accessible to a lot of people, because his problems are more easily identifiable.

Yup, and now he's everyone's favorite superhero to wank and self-insert to. It'd be understandable if he wasn't so goddamn terrible and boring.

Its subliminal anti-semitism. The writers hate jews and Superman is a jew.

I've always thought the nickname shouldn't be Super Cena but Bat-Cena. Both Cena and Batman are underdogs who always win against all the odds because they sell merchandise

>Its subliminal anti-semitism
>The writers hate jews

except most comic writers are jews since they you know kinda popularized the industry

Because it's a man vs a god? Superman winning is the boring outcome.

no it didn't. it far from favored him

And the industry treated those writers like shit, many times using its connections to the Italian mob to take their author rights and keep them in check. Considering those mafia guys were catholic, they probably found it fun
