He deserved better

He deserved better.

if the writers weren't retarded then the ending would not have been shit

He deserved better.

He really didn't. RIP Gymbro and their boss.

If he wasn't retarded he wouldn't have left their memories and skill sets intact. He got exactly what he deserved.

>men should die for playing video games the wrong way

I haven't actually watched this episode nor do I know anything about it, but I know black mirror is made and produced in the UK and they had a prominent feminist write two episodes about muh patriarchy. How on the nose am I?

How the hell did he die? If the game shuts down and you're still in it, you die in real life? What kind of Matrix crap is this?

Isn't the technology that leaves their memories intact practically part of the Black Mirror universe? If I remember correctly they're called "cookies" and are shown in multiple episodes.

The ending is quite silly. No hardware would be allowed if the person can be trapped inside. At least not without sending some sort of alert. The ending doesn't really make any sense. Instead it all occurs according to plot convenience.

the entire thing is pretty retarded but could've been saved by the some sort of cybercrime entity. It was already the longest episode of the series though

He didn't die, he just couldn't leave. Eventually his body would die of dehydration.

the dumbest part (besides him suddenly being powerless to catch up to them because the plot required it) was a completely single player game somehow having an access to the update server, or reacting to a multiplayer update

Since it was a buggy dev build, there's a whole mess of reasons for why he might've overlooked some details. Maybe he did keep the update server accessible just in case he needed to pull some assets like graphical/sensory updates.

What happens in the game when you die in real life?

>scuffed Matt Damon

He deserved a better hairstyle.

He was a psycho, coward, beta bitch

He was a creep, but ultimately harmless. If we were supposed to see him as a villain, it would have helped if they showed him at least planning to do something bad in real life

He was torturing sentient beings, thats fucked up, he was a sad pathetic monster who diserved what he got

NERDS ARE EVIL LMAO

Supposedly it's because he modded his game but in reality it's because the writers are plebs

Video games aren't sentient

The digital copies of people are not just video games. They are digital versions of real people. And real themselves, in a way. Incorporeal.

>your personality is stored in your DNA
Uhm no sweetie

Wtf are you talking about? They were clearly sentient and capable of feel emotional an phisical pain

Bullshit. Co workers would probably call the police in 2 days max if he's not showing up at work. Human bodies can survive a little more than a week without food/water. That's more than enough time for police to arrive at his house.

Gymbro comes back at the end

Out of everything this is actually the most feasible outcome, I mean it's obvious no one gives a shit about him for personalities sake but he is the technical team lead for the game, the boss is going to start losing his shit when he's missing for more than 48 hours.

He will rewrite his dev mod and acquire all their dna again.

This episode was entertaining but boy was it fucken stupid, i was surprised it wasnt made by a woman.

How did the game shutdown anyway. I don’t get how his offline mod is kinda still “connected” to the online server. Wtf is with the wormhole being a patch. What happened to the firewall. Why does he get stuck in the game. Why doesn’t all virtue reality game have mechanism to automatically eject players when the game shutdown. Thousands of players would get stuck in the game everytime a server crash or power go out or their computer just freeze or something.

You know, I have absolutely no idea who this bloat-faced fuck is or what show he's on, but here's what I know JUST from pictures.

1) I know he is a Donald Trump stand in. The hair is a dead giveaway.
2) I know he met with some gruesome public fate likely to the cheers and jeers of those who didn't like him.

And that's all I care to know, because it tells me that whatever show he was attached to is run by kikes who wanted to kill someone they didn't like in effigy without it being illegal.

I have to say I like Meth Damon more than Matt Damon nowadays, he's good in everything he's in. Here he was also great, regardless of the complete retardation of the episode.

One of the co-workers mentions that they're closing for 10 days over the Christmas break. Combine that with the fact that he put his apartment on do not disturb and he doesn't exactly have any friends who care about coming to check up on him, the likely outcome is that he'll die.
