Why aren't DC fans talking about this movie anymore?
Why aren't DC fans talking about this movie anymore?
Because it was garbage.

I didn't even watch it. And I watched all DC movies until JL.
It's kind of a shame, because I thought the first trailer with Batman and Aquaman looked cool.
But it got worse with every trailer to the point I figured I didn't want to go see it anymore.
I don't know. If someone shoved a hot cattlebrand up your ass would you introduce yourself to new people at a bar by mentioning you have a scarred asshole?
comic book movie talk has a short life. People watch it and discuss it for maybe the first 2-3 weeks and then jump onto the hype for the next one.
what if it's a gay bar?
Yes, yes I would.
Because it's a Marvel movie
Because Joss "marvel writer" whedon worked on it , so basically no one cares.
It's hacked up garbage that pisses on MoS/BvS fans and WW fans. It's also got nothing for Suicide Squad fans to enjoy.

Every single trailer for this film was garbage. I didn't like BVS but boy did that film have some good trailers. But JL? Never had me fooled.
Ah yes, that's why all the DC movies in the last decades have been terrible.
Same reason I never talk about Green Lantern or LEGO Batman
Maybe I need to watch it again, but nothing stood out as interesting. BvS had lots of remarkable scenes with some layered dialogue, particularly Luthor and the senator. JL is just flat, and Armond White is pretty much a troll for still finding something good from JL
So how are the shake ups and fallout from Justice League going to affect the DCEU? Any theories?
Doubling down on the Whedon formula or trusting their directors maybe?
No self-respecting DC fan likes DCEU anyway.
This
Warner Jap basically said yesterday that they shouldn't have tried to be like Disney and that they should keep making each movie unique.
Of course that won't mean anything and they will keep fucking up.
>a Justice League movie made less money than Doctor Strange worldwide
jesus christ
"First Look" wasn't really a trailer but it looked decent to me.
It's a general rule with DC films. Very promising first trailer but trailers get increasingly worse.
Can confirm, only people who like it are the weird Snyder cult worshippers.
I kinda liked MoS and BvS because they were at least trying to be somewhat interesting.
JL was complete garbage though, I regret agreeing to go see it.
Not the end of the world for me, I couldn't care less what happens to all those superhero franchises out there
DC fans would rather forget the DCEU even exists.
The DCEU is dead, bury it. Consider it mercy.
All 13 of them did already
even DCucks try to forget it exists
TLJ happened.
>lost half the theaters from last week, now at only 518 theaters
>making 50k on weekdays
>for comparison suicide squad was making 250k on the same day number
it's dead
It was way more enjoyable than BvS or Wonder Woman. Hope they'll release an extended cut, because it could benefit more from a less rushed pacing.
It was more like a MCU movie to me, all those Whedon jokes, cringe villain and all. DC had a good run but it's just not interesting to me anymore, as I said if I wanted a poorly made capeshit without any depth I'd go see the new Thor flick or something
Yeah, because Lex Luthor was a deep character and not cringy at all
Only people who liked this movie are fake superman fans that want him grinning while killing the bad guy
>everybody looks like they have an endless migraine and an ulcer=the movie is deep and well made
You must love Finnish movies
I loved it. It's a shame more people didn't go and see it, because it addressed a lot of the shit that had pissed people off. Ah well, the DCEU marches on.
Wonder if Aquaman will be well received. I mean, as a DCEU fan, even I feel a bit wary of it, because the underwater sections of JL made my eyes hurt a little, at least in 3D, and you could barely tell what the fuck was going on. Unless 80% of the scenes occur on land it will be making people physically ill.
Sure. I don't have an entire shelf of post-crisis trades on my shelf, outnumbering my classic Marvel stuff. Nope. I just have a shrine to Snyder.
