How did he become the biggest star in Hollywood of all time ?
>Shitty acting
>plays the same role every time
>not even a chad
How did he become the biggest star in Hollywood of all time ?
>Shitty acting
>plays the same role every time
>not even a chad
Charisma you dolt, obviously.
>not even a chad
Harrison Ford was pure sex in the 80s.
>>Shitty acting
>>plays the same role every time
>>not even a chad
You couldn't possibly be any more wrong.
He's hardly a great actor but he's great in that one role he plays, and he doesn't pretend any different.
>show up
>don't molest anyone
ezpz
goy looking jew.
He is a sleeper chad. His charisma and charm work magic that excel his place and work wonders for everyone around him.
Like King Steve.
His glaring sullen attitude passes for masculinity in a town that abhors it. Imagine being jewish doesnt hurt either.
Seriously though, wtf is op talking about
Well he was a carpenter and decided to drop everything and go to Hollywood which is pretty bad ass if you ask me
>biggest star in Hollywood of all time
How tall is he? some ugly or average guys don't understand what woman find attractive and delude themselves.
the other way around is better
He only became a carpenter because his acting career was failing hard and he needed to eat.
>paid his dues taking minor roles for years
>got in with George Lucas with American Graffiti
>years later got the role of Han Solo
>rest is history
Not really hard to understand really.
The one I've always been perplexed by is Kevin Costner.
Because of this.
>likeable and charming
>edited in every film to exclusively show all of his chad qualities.
is OP retarded?
Remember kids when replying to a disney shill wbo will try to ruin harrison fords image order to promote the new movie pleasewrite sage in the options box
Thank you
Costners comfy af. Tall, seems like a nice guy. Aging well.
Ford's movies grossed a lot more, his characters are a lot more iconic
Harrison is 6'1.
based director of one of the grrat modern westerns
makes all the exclusive kino sport movies
I'm not complaining. He just kind of hit the scene in the late 80's and was immediately was at the top. Not even jewish either desu.
>biggest star in Hollywood of all time
but this isn't clark gable
How did she become the biggest star in Hollywood of all time?
>Shitty acting
>plays the same role every time
>not even that hot
Gotcha. Never looked into it and kinda dont want to for fear of ruining a guy whos nice to think of in the background of my pop culture surroundings, not ruffling any feathers.
Proly put the mockers on him now. Sorry kev.
I'd say Audrey Hepburn is much bigger
It's true that he generally played the same character. However, his acting as that character is really good. He plays the "vulnerable roguish good guy" extremely well. His facial expressions work very well to make audiences sympathize with the character he's playing. He's got good comedic timing.
As for not even a chad, I mean, Humphrey Bogart wasn't a chad in terms of looks by the time he became mega-famous, and that didn't stop him. Charisma and masculinity > prototypal good looks. There were loads of prototypally good-looking actors in Hollywood in the 40s, but people remember Bogie more than any of them.
>Shitty acting
But he's a good actor. The ability to play a leading man is severely underrated. You have to juggle believability as an action star, charism and understated relatability. The fact that he's successfully played leading men for decades, including some of the most iconic roles ever, says a lot about his talent.
>plays the same role every time
Not really. Deckard is nothing like Kimble or Jack Ryan. There's even clear differences between Indiana Jones and Han Solo, who are accused of being the same character. Jones is academic and methodical, a more intelligent character. Solo is more sarcastic and impulsive.
>not even a chad
You serious?
He had 'it'. Only time the new Star Wars films had an air of adventure about them was during his scenes, and even then his screen presence was just a shadow of its former self.
pls be trolling
Has it never bothered people in his entire career that his nose was skewed to the left?
With or without it, he's handsome either way but still, you'd think someone would point it out eventually.
pls be under 20
Not even the biggest Hepburn
Jew.
>not even a chad
Considering she was never even one of the top 10 money-makers at the box office, I'd say no. Not at all.
Hepburn is not nearly as iconic as Monroe, nor was she as big a star back in the day. You're delusional if you think otherwise.
I'd say he and Arnold are the same but neither are the biggest in Hollywood by far
>not even a chad
but he's a jew
sucked miles of cock
he works around the clock
why do chads always have perfect hair
I'd say its close betwen her and Katherine but Audrey's movies have held out longer and her image is much more iconic
That literally means nothing, Mark Hamill was in a top ten money maker in the box office, does that mean hes a huge star? Star power requires hits after hits and a lasting career.
b8, Roman Holiday, Breakfast at Tiffany's, My Fair Lady are all HUGELY culturally iconic movies. Monroe is less famous for her acting career than her love life.
>Roman Holiday
nobody knows that one except classic film buffs
>Breakfast at Tiffany's
only popular with "fashionable" hipster girls and gays
>My Fair Lady
generic run of the mill musical #453
Meanwhile, Some Like it Hot is considered by many to be the best comedy of all time.
How many planes has he crashed now?
>nobody knows that one except classic film buffs
bait, don't project, I'd say the average film person doesn't know shit about golden hollywood, they wouldn't know crap about some like it hot anymore than roman holiday
Doesn't mean Audrey's vast filmography doesn't, the most famous thing Marilyn Monroe is known for is dying young, fucking JFK and being "plus sized"
Not enough, till he finds his wife.
C'mon user, everyone knows Hepburn is a distant second to Marilyn in terms of iconic Hollywood actresses. And in terms of sheer fame, Liz Taylor was also bigger than her.
Hepburn just isn't on Marilyn's level in any way.
>nobody knows that one except classic film buffs
It's one of the most popular romantic comedies among normal people, you know. Not trashy, just normal, mostly because of that scene.
It's the secret of becoming chad in the first place. Everyone can go to the gym and become fit. But hairlets will never get the keys to the chaddom.
Okay even if you ignore the fact that Hepburn has more oscars and nominations (meaning most of hollywood backed her). Or ignore the fact that her literal image is used to sell shit or when people mention up coming stars, they reference Audrey Hepburn comparisons. Or if you ignore just googling who the top and most popular golden age stars were (usually it'll be James Stewart, John Wayne, Audrey Hepburn, etc) or look at any list.
The fact that you can only reference one movie she is in that made her popular just proves my point.
>Marilyn Monroe was plus sized
You just keep getting more and more wrong.
I said it in quotes, they just keep refercing her "size" in modern memes to make women feel good about not being size zero
No-one ever said that Marilyn was the better actress, but her cultural significance as a whole is on a completely different level than Audrey's.
I wonder (((how)))
...
Jewish, attractive face anyone recognizes, Han Solo, played his money very well.
Cultural significance is based on the backing of many movies. Marilyn maybe culturally significant in other ways, but not as an actor
>muh jews
kys
Oscars mean little to nothing when talking about movie stars as opposed to actors. This isn't about acting skills or recognition, it's about sheer star power and worldwide fame. Marilyn Monroe was the most famous woman in the world at her peak and to this day epitomizes Hollywood more than anyone else.
I'd disagree, I'd say someone like Katherine Hepburn or Audrey Hepburn are much more iconic in Hollywood and as actors. Marilyn may be more iconic as being remembered as a dumb bimbo. She's like the Kardashian of that time, though I will say her acting is very underrated.
People still principally think of her as an actress
name one film where he played a bad guy
more as sex symbol, I doubt you can ask most people what movies shes in though most people, mostly hipsters know about Breakfast at Tiffanys and My Fair Lady.
for you
What Lies Beneath.
You can ask the same question about people such as Clark Gable and Cary Grant, and people still wouldn't be able to name their films. As far as Hollywood classics go, Some Like It Hot is relatively well known.
Name 20 non jewish actors
If there's one old hollywood movie people know its Gone with the Wind though, I do agree with Grant though, most people do know Jimmy Stewart though and his movies
Deep voice.
50 niggerd
dude arny got so big he became the governor of the state hollywood resides in.
He is a character actor, same as arnold.
No, Monroe is just much more iconic in terms of Hollywood. She's basically the biggest Hollywood icon there is.
Yes, her fame/legacy extends well beyond movies but that doesn't take away the fact that she made many hugely successful films, was one of the top box office stars of her day, and has one of the most iconic images in film history. Pic related is significantly more iconic and recognizable than Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's.
means crap, thats like saying Ronald Reagan was the most famous actor of his time
>that she made many hugely successful films
you say that but only some like it hot is among her huge successes that she can compare with breakfast or my fair lady or roman holiday
that image is iconic to monroe but most people don't know what movie it came from, its just been parodied so much they understand the reference from parody but that doesn't signify that she was a bigger actor, I mean Margaret Hamilton isn't a huge star because she delivered an iconic moment, several even that people today even understand
There's nothing you said about Harrison Ford you couldn't say about Marlon Brando.
Nobody cares about the ability to act. They just want a handsome cool guy front man with some charisma
>how to marry a millionaire
>seven year itch
>gentlemen prefer blondes
>bus stop
>niagara
These were all huge hit movies. Breakfast at Tiffany's wasn't even a major hit when it came out, it just became iconic over time.
You have no real argument here. I can't even believe I'm having this debate.
Shit, maybe I'm being trolled.
you say that but besides some like it hot none of those films can compete with audrey hepburn's top filmography
>got prime carrie fisher pussy
>not a chad
He never went or in a boat with 5 litres of ice cream in order to cheat on a diet?
>not even a chad
He was at least 6'1 in his prime and from good built, also successful with women even before anyone knew who the fuck he was. Ford is basically the proto Chad.
So did half of Lucasfilm desu
Tom Cruise is the biggest star of all time.
Ford second.
What about arnold? legit question
This little guy aint shit compared to the Rock
Unironically will be remembered as the biggest star of all time
Nobody has ever proven that a male more attractive than young Harrison Ford exists.
I'd argue Tom Hanks is bigger
Dolph Lundgren.
this honestly, it's the perfect formula for hollywood success. he has the best of the jew (status) and the best of the goy (aesthetics), and ofc he was hot in the 80s and 90s
Other than the Terminator movies, I don't think he's at an ELITE level in terms of Hollywood stardom.
Obviously, he was huge at his peak. But that's another thing, Cruise and Ford have been huge stars for longer periods. Arnie was already waning in the 90s and only became a star in the 80s.
Cruise has been a star for nearly 40 years. Ford nearly 50.
Tom is probably top 50 imo but he was never really that huge blockbuster box office draw was he? Not that it's a mark on his name but there's bigger 'stars' than him.
He signed a deal with the devil
if you go to any non english speaking country, they would recognize Arnie above anyone else
He's not a good actor, he has no range, he can't do drama or comedy. Have you seen Harrison Ford ever crying in a role? However, he has good charisma, screen presence, and he had a PERFECT timing on being cast on iconic roles in the late 70s and 80s and not be typecast.
bullshit, ryan gosling is visibly taller than him and he's 6'0
harrison is in his mid 70s.
"I know when I put the steak in my mouth its not real but... I don't want to remember nuffin. Ok? I want to be someone famous, like a movie actor perhaps." - Overheard at a Hollywood restaurant in 1970.
