What's it like being retarded?

FUCK OFF TRIP
That's because Garfield is a better actor than Maguire.
Spider-man 2 is the best capeshit movie
>fake=synthetic
amazing spider man was shit tho
gwen is hot in this movie.
I hate andrew garfield for some reason. I am not really sure why, but I can't stand watching him act.
...
everything except the main actor. peter parker was a quiet nerd genius. this guy is a 'super cool skateboarder' faggot.
Surprised the contrarians on here haven't said Amazing Spider-Man is better than Homecoming but I guess you lot can't help yourself but go to the whole hog.
G
I prefer Tobey personally.
gwen should have been nude.
This but unironically. Original Spider-Man is one of the few capeshits I'll watch if it happens to be on.
emma stone should be naked in every movie.
Garfield is the best Spider-Man
Nope. Homecoming is the best Spidey on screen
Not liking Raimi because MUH COMIC BOOKS is such a soyboy opinion
calling people names is the calling card of a weak intellect. Grow up.
Caring about faithfulness to children's comic books is the calling card of a weak soyboy. Go to the gym
lol the whole point of this site originally was to talk about anime and comics. Irony much?
Homecoming > Amazing > [huge gap] > 70s live action Spider-Man > [huge gap] > Raimi Shitsuck
Homecoming is a mediocre film that get's as much praise as it does because it looks like Citizen Kane compared to the trainwreck that was the Amazing Spider-Man films.
They're pretty much the textbook example of what's wrong with modern, executive driven Hollywood blockbusters. Fundamental misunderstanding of the source material, no directorial vision, every decision cynically made by committee to appeal to focus groups, huge focus is on creating a cinematic universe before even making a single good film made, Frankenstein's monster-esque plots stitched together from dozens of checklist subplots and reshoots with very little narrative flow, etc. etc.
The Amazing Spider-Man, and doubly so it's sequel, are objectively trash.
>ends sentence with "much?"
Peak Passive Soygressiveness
spooky
I agree. I also like his ass in the spidey suit.
Emily Jean is the REAL superhero.
only plebs think Tobey Spidey was any good.
Garfield and Holland are far better Spider-Men.
Re-watched recently and actually if you watch both movies as a "Part 1 - Part 2" kinda of the same movie its better.
I'd say:
Spiderman 1 5/5
Spiderman 2 4/5
Spiderman 3 3/4
Amazing Spiderman 1&2 4/5
Homecoming utter garbage/5 (1/5)
We have lost our way in this ocean of piss.
>Muh monuments built by slaves
>Muh protesting is patriotic
who in their right fucking mind directing these movies with all these virtue signaling for fucks sake marvel fuck you you fucking fuck motherfucker for ruining homecoming FUCK
OG had soul, which is a forgotten dimension of film these days. I can’t even rightly define it, but you can see a difference down to the core between the projects driven by invested and excited directors and cast, and ones made and chopped together by a board room checking off quotas and groups.
I’d say that was my single biggest problem with homecoming, it felt through and through like a bunch of heartless execs put together the safest version of a Spider-Man story and put 0 heart into anything, and even choked away the passion of others involved. It’s like seeing the drop of iron man in movies from intriguing to coroporate-led plot device
Anyone else noticing this? LTJ, capestuff, most everything these days
>movies shouldn't have any kind of indepemdence they should be 100% accurate or else they suck
I remember my 15 year old self thinking like this.
no one will ever be a better spiderman than tobey maguire
just like no one can live up to heath ledger's joker
Honestly, somewhere in between results in the best adaptions.
Keep the best stuff but change a few things for a new medium to suit it better.
