No, WB replaced Mystery Incorporated. They weren't really into the direction it was going. They looked for people who were going to go as far away from it as possible while still operating within the typical parameters of a Scooby Doo series. These guys had anti-MI rhetoric as a core part of their pitch because of how much WB wanted to distance itself from it.
Outside of Sup Forums most of the people who cared about Mystery Inc were folks who thought Scooby Doo was awful to begin with. It's a very divisive show within the more dedicated part of the fanbase and it was never a real hit with the target demo. This board is one of the rare places where the majority of the people who unironically enjoy Scooby Doo also love MI.
