Canadian animation

>Canadian animation

What's wrong with Grojband and Pirate Express?

>no di-gata defenders, clone high, or class of the titans

cherry picking

OP was talking about 2010s shows, moron.

>shit-talking the leafs

what was with Canadian animation's infatuation with summer camp? i've never, nor has anyone i know, been to a summer camp.

Sorry man, Canadian girls are ugly as fuck.
For all the bad rep they get, American chicks are so much hotter it's not even funny.

>The Day My Butt Went Psycho!

>clone high is canadian
wow one good show

Jimmy Two-Shoes actually is a good show tho. Well, the first season anyway. Second season's pure shit.

How'd I do? Should I pitch it to CN?

Blatant fucking lie. Say all the shit you will about their copy+paste cartoons, but Canadian girls are top tier.

Neither have I.
I never heard anyone I know mention it either.
I think its more of an American thing

I am a Germanfag, we have summercamps around here and everyone talks about them, not spending your time in a summercamp basically means you are "that guy". But this kind of stuff seems to be incredibly regional, it is pretty big in some villages while being pretty much nonexistent in the village 20 kilometers away. Pretty sure it is also like that in Canada or the US.

No, but you should receive your tax break from Canada any day now.

Pretty much every guy I know is trying to get into the US. Those with jobs are going for one reason and one reason only: girls.

TDI and Scardey Squirrel were alright

Hack writers from Ontario writing what they know. That whole province is like a giant summer campsite that also happens to snow for most of it.

...

The EE&E is Canadian myth strikes again! Sigh...

It is sad to know that Atomic Puppet and Looped had interesting concepts that were poorly developed because the animation sucks.

>that were poorly developed because the animation sucks
???

Development comes from writing, not animation.

>total drama is in there
user confirmed for shit opinions

>American company uses Canadian studio for service work
What else is new?

Sorry for the misuse of words, my point is that these shows could have reached big numbers and become great if is wasn't for the mediocre animation.
But you're right as well, the writing is a 6/10.

But you could name plenty of cartoons with shitty animation that are popular because of the writing. The reverse simply isn't true.

What's Chuck's Choice like?

Myth? Huh. News to me! (Doesn't mean you're wrong. Just means it's news to me.)

The way I remember it, Antonucci actually went out of his way to ensure it was produced at his own studio in Vancouver, and not have it be made by Cartoon Network. The art and voices were done at a.k.a., then the drudge animation was outsourced to Asia as per usual, and it was all edited and finished back in the studio again.

How did they really do it?

If I'm not wrong, Chuck is presented with three power choices each episode, he picks one and shenanigans ensue.

Everything of real importance to the show was made in the US and/or by Americans. The CRTC doesn't even recognize it as a Canadian series AFAIK.

The CRTC regs care more about the citizenship of all the people who worked on the show, as opposed to the country where it was made. It's like GNP vs. GDP.

Still, did not know that ANY of the important stuff was done in the U.S. Now I'm kinda interested in looking into it. Got a link?

Isnt Star vs and MLP Canadian nimations?

I'm not aware of the situation with SVTFOE, but the other one is similar to EE&E: it's an American series for which Canadians do a lot of grunt work.

Definitely not Star vs

>Crash Canyon

lemme guess, Canadian Family Guy?

MLP is an American cartoon that had its animation outsourced to Canada.

Star Vs. is also an American cartoon, but it only outsourced its animation to Canada for a short while, only for the first ten episodes in S1.

Those had some really good animation too, the show really dropped in pure animation quality after that

No.

The story is that a highway has a real sharp turn that keeps causing people to drive off and get stranded in it a canyon. For some reason no one ever finds them and the residents have build a society with their limited resources and whatever new people bring in.

>The Day My Butt Went Pyscho

Yea...we're not real proud of that one...

Also the entire thing while appearing to rip off FG's style is animated in fucking GoAnimate

Wait the made a show out of The Day my Butt went psycho?
I remember reading the book as a kid. It went into a bit too much detail with describing how the skin flakes off your ass and disintegrates from explosives.

Brain drain strike again

you forgot one

It's its own porn parody!

Do your own research you fuck.

Tired of telling people the good Canadian cartoons every time a thread like this is made.

Also Jimmy Two Shoes was actually good mostly.

>It's shit just like every other canadian cartoon
what a suprise

Why are Canadian Cartoons a bunch of "lol so random xD" concepts?

MLP is an American cartoon

DON'T POST THAT IN OUR SACRED BOARD

This is NOT Canada's fault (other than choosing to adapt the source material)!

Tell me Sup Forums, how is it possible to go from pic related to THAT!?

>Celebrating 6 years.
>Now it's 7
Damn, it really doesn't feel like that long ago. Are we going to be getting nostalgiafags for MLP soon, or does it have to end first?

I wonder when it will finally end.

Why do leafs draw fat people like that

hes coming

"Atomic Puppet is an animated series produced by Mercury Filmworks, Technicolor Entertainment Services France SAS and Gaumont Animation"

So it's like an US/Canada/France jumble. Also Pauline is best girl.

crash canyon is kinda a guilty pleasure of mine
