The George Reeves Superman TV show had Pa Kent die in the middle of the first episode.

I think batman needs a more Lois lane type. Someone who is strong without being super powered (or regardless of their superpowers) who can stand up to him. I think the problem with Babs and Selena is they'll stand up to him but, for themselves and probably just end up walking off after a bit.

Regardless, it has to be absolute endgame. Batman doesn't work with a stable, healthy relationship with Catwoman. For Bruce and Selina to get together for good, it would require their respective character arcs to come to a positive close.
