Stick with your 1080p TV. Lower resolution source upscaled to 4K will look like shit, 4K downscaled to 1080p is a lot better.

No bro, please watch the original first. And take your time for it. Expect a slow moving, and noirish film where you have to think a lot on your own about the characters feeling and motivations. It looks amazing but it's really more an arthouse flick than a generic Sci-Fi movie,
