This is so sad, because there is actually nothing and nobody that could save Star Wars now. It is truly dead. Thank god I haven't watched the last jedi. I learned my lessons with TFA and I only just tried watching R1 last month and it was unwatchable.

R1 was much better than TFA and TLJ.

I thought the feel and vibe was much better. With that said, Plinkett was right that almost all the characters were unmemorable. And the first half really dragged ass. It was the first Star Wars film that had me checking my phone for the time. But if the tone and vibe could be married with compelling characters and plot, then HELL YES!

Accept that IX will blow ass, after that they put the IP in a vault and never touch it again. Maybe in a couple decades when the SJWs calm down and focus on real issues, then Star Wars will be safe to come back.
