Just finished the 3rd season. Better Call Saul general? What are your predictions for season 4?

Where is this show heading? How many seasons is it gonna be?

Personally, I think it's just going to lead up the the moment that Walt and Jesse meet Saul. I'm hoping it'll be 5-6 seasons total

Holy shit this show is making it to season 4? Pretty sure nobody expected it to last past one season when it was announced.

What happened again. That guy kicked the lantern off the table and killed himself. That might upset Saul a bit..

Do you think they'll address why Jimmy forgot to turn off his microphone when he was talking shit about the old people at Sandpiper Crossing? It really seemed odd for him to make a blatant fuckup like that since he is typically so careful with his schemes.

They call it slow burn. I say they turned off the heat completely. It's not going anywhere at this rate so they'll have to have one of those finales that feels rushed as fuck. Don't get me wrong, I like him, both the actor and the character, but they're spending way too much time on side characters. They're theoretically 60% done if they do the 5 seasons they said they would. He's not changed much, hasn't moved 60% (or even close) to becoming Saul. That's my issue.

chuck gets cucked

That'd be neat. But I don't think they're gonna do that. The show takes place 6 years before Breaking Bad and so far it's been one year in the span of 3 seasons. Unless they do some gay timeskip, it'll be at least 20 seasons before they reach Walt at this pace.

Are you baiting?

If your not then:
He knew it was on.

why is there a season 4?

>They call it slow burn.

>What are your predictions for season 4?
Nothing happens.

Chuck the Bull will get his revenge.

I predict that nothing will happen.

I'm not sure. but who is the wrong here in general here? Chuck or Saul?

his soy father

The clearest stepping stones to going full Saul are his past (already done - Marco and the pinky ring), losing his family (just happened, and after what was an obvious falling out), feeling generally fucked over (ongoing), and something happening with Kim. Something happening with Kim will probably be the finale of this season.

Did you fall asleep during that part? He deliberately left it on and got that other lawyer to have that talk with him, so that lady could have her friends back and they wouldn't resent her anymore.

>the mike scenes are boring

it's sad that the whole premise of this show is HOW SAUL BECAME THE SAUL YOU KNOW AND LOVE FROM AMC'S SMASH HIT BREAKING BAD. taints the whole thing.

as a nice little character piece it's a really decent show with some lovely moments. one of the better shows on TV, but BB normies only care about HOW DOES IT INTO BREAKING BAD and it's all a bit depressing.

Kim has to die. She is too perfect. Jimmy would follow her to the ends of the earth.

it's literally just a Breaking Bad prequel you total autist holy shit
Nobody thinks it's anything else

They both have faults, ultimately I'll say Chuck. Jimmy did try and make something of himself, getting through the bar exam on his own. But Chuck just shot him down at every opportunity. Maybe if he had gotten a job at HHM, he would have stayed clean. Also, Jimmy took care of his brother for a substantial amount of time despite being treated like shit.

Jimmy really has been slipping lately.

it's not though, it's its own thing tonally and thematically. completely different show.

>Jimmy McGill’s brother Chuck (Michael McKean) is dead. “We try not to screw around with the audience where ‘you thought it was this, but it’s now that’,” said Gould, “To build up the way we did and not have consequences, it would be a wet cracker.”
Walking Dead BTFO

I kind of see what you're saying, but the knowledge of Jimmy turning into Saul really colors even the happy moments with some sadness since we know that he's going to lose Kim, all the random practices he works at/for, etc etc

In feeling a time skip or two is going to be necessary. I don't want this show to surpass BB in length. As a side note, I'm also interested to see how Francesca comes to absolutely loathe Saul, and come back to his employment. Also interested in seeing what becomes of Kim. She's either going to move from Albuquerque or get killed.

Look I liked the show but I'm not gonna lie but I don't remember a lot. Let's see:

uhhh..Chuck hurts himself trying to investigate jimmy
Chuck loses his shit at trial
Chuck gets fired..er..'forceably retired' by blonde douche guy
Saul has to do community service or some shit
Legs mc nice butt in PJs gets into a car accident
Some shit with Salamanca. Tio has his heart attack.
Mike..does some swapping spy shit
Gus did..things. Working with Mike now.
Chuck KOs himself with a lantern

I dunno, that's about it.
Actually that's more than I thought I'd remember..but I'm probably missing a million big things..

I really need to stop binging shows, It just becomes a blur. I mean, I didn't even binge this I watched it with you faggots, but I need to stop watching so many shows, I start to forget shit.

I don't want it to drag on. Shows always start sucking whenever they drag on.

So if they get to the point where Jimmy has moved and set up office as Saul within the next episodes then that would be swell.

Chuck survived the fire, but is now living under the alias "Sneed".

>avoid the "haha evry1 die, sad end!" fad entirely and the show ends with Kim tracking down Jimmy and meeting him at the Cinnabon
Would it be, dare I say, kino?

While this is a case where there would be a legitimate need to everyone to die, I admit they've played out the trope. At this point you almost have to subvert it because that is what everyone is expecting. Especially Kim dying. There will be no emotional payoff if they kill her because everyone has expected it from the start.

There's something weird about this show. I know it's good and I love watching it but a couple of weeks later I don't remember a single thing about it.

They clearly have something in mind for present day Jimmy, and I do think having him suicide or something would be kind of a lame way to end it.

It would be too predictable. The Cinnabon scenes make it seem kind of like he's being watched and so everyone is expecting him to take a bullet at the end. People will just shrug their shoulders and go Meh. Needs to be a little more creative than that.

It's slowburn, and there is a lot of lawyer related stuff. It's easy to forget or for it to kind of blend

Apologize

she's easily the worst part of the show though. legit can't act worth a shit

why was he such a cunt to Kim?

I think this has been some great drama. I was expecting a very cheesey spinoff that relied solely on cameos and instead got a solid piece of television with some great acting and very intense moments. It stood firmly on its own merits.
I think this is better than Breaking Bad.

I couldn't tell if Chuck was committing suicide or just house insurance fraud after realising he had ruined his home?
If the latter, he's going back on his morals very strongly.

He killed himself because he's burning with rage over Jimmy cucking him out of his delusions

>3 seasons of the cartel, hector, nacho, gus and mike just to see hector caugh

But what if bait and switch?

They already tried to make it seem like he died when he hit his head.

I watched the first season, and quit. I was disappointed.

Although I hope it gets least 5 seasons, so I can watch it when it's finished, I just hope it has gotten better

NOTHING HAPPENS IN THIS SHOW
