the dino hunting scene was pretty comfy but if they fit it in the original somehow it wouldve been superior.

I like it ...a lot. Only things that really bothered me was the focus on the 'romance', who cares about that.
Great movie.

Creepy mini dinochicken thngs. T-Rex hunting guy. Baby stegosaurus. Hippie eaten under the waterfall scene. Tense camp sleeping scene with shadow of T-rex lurking. The trailers over the cliff edge. Everything with raptors. Dino IN THE CITY eating people. Multiple awesome chase/hide and seek scenes. Still used animatronics. I even liked Vince Vaughn.

What more can you ask of a summer movie?

It takes on a whole other element as an adult of 'so bad it's good'. The acting delivery is hilarious in retrospect, Bill Murray is great, Neuman is great, and the animated parts hold up. Lets not forget it gave us Lola too.

If you take out some of the awkward dialogue and the weird scene where they play sexy horse in front of a crowd of gradeschoolers the story and the characters could be from a Batman: TAS standalone catwoman movie.

Remove the niglet raptor kicking scene and this movie is a perfect fun dino action flick

It's a great movie user and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It's not original at all (it's like a series of writer's room "wouldn't it be cool" ideas lazily strung together) but it's entertaining as hell.
