I admit I had to watch this movie in four sessions. But it's absolutely wonderful.

I watched it 5 minutes at a team in-between Call of Duty matches and thought it was really overrated. I'd rather watch Last Jedi.
miserable fucking movie that pseuds watch so they can add to their list of 'foreign intellectual movies I watched that make me smart'.
Nah, you're just an ADHD brainlet.
Brainlet copes like this are just delicious
(You)
dude long takes with no dialogue lmao
me to user, it's a good comfy film to escape into.
ADHD doesn’t exist
>watching a movie in four sessions
why ?
Does anyone got more info on the tv show? I read somewhere that other network was supposed to pick it up, but that was a long time ago.
youtube.com
>All scenes outside the Zone are in black and white
>All Zone scenes are in color
What does this mean?
you didn't really watch it then
Why have still not got an action sequel more akin to the video game?
Its would be the Aliens of Stalker kino.
why didn't the guys enter the wish room anyway for a free wish?
>2+ hours of autistic screensaver
>totally fucks up awesome book
>entire script is basically a transcription of average slav drunkard's sad nagging
This «kino» is пoлнoe гoвнищe. It's even bigger pseudo-intellectual pleb-bait than Ulysses.
>Well, I was dearly confused, but, I felt better than other people towards the end.
Because they realized that the room, even if it's real, won't give them what they want or they might have being afraid of their own true wishes. I don't know.
>totally fucks up awesome book
>entire script is basically a transcription of average slav drunkard's sad nagging
You do know that the script was written by the authors of the book, right?
You do know the authors of the book were literally crying when they saw how bad it was, right?
The Stalker only feels truly alive in the Zone.
>weak bait
>posts anime
like clockwork
Did you watch the movie? The story about the guy who went in the room and got his true wish only to hang himself later may have scared them. None of them wanted to go in because they were afraid of the room revealing who they really we're deep down.
imagine being so full of yourself that when faced with something you don't like, you dismiss every person that likes that thing as ''merely pretending".
That's borderline paranoic
Tarkovsky forced them to rewrite it over and over again until it became total shit. Strugatskys were totally desperate and exhausted because this hack hasn't even been able to tell them exactly what he wanted.
Sorry, fag, next time I'll find a picture of puking 3D human or animal if that triggers you so much.
(You) got me
>anime
opinion discarded
I'm curious how many puking anime girls you have saved and wondering if they're worth collecting
Just brainlet things.
So the Zone only allows the pure of heart to safely make it through. This explains how the dog was able to survive in the Zone so long. Even that bird that flew threw an anomaly was untouched. The military perished when they tried. Why did the Zone let the writer carrying the gun through and even went so far as to warn him not to advance farther early in the film? Why did the Zone let the Professor get so close to the room with the bomb? He even went back to get his bag (with the bomb in it) and not only survived but somehow appeared ahead of the group maybe with the help of the Zone. Did the Zone know the Professor's plan to destroy the room was through good intentions so it protected him? Did the Zone knows the same dangers of the room that the Professor knew? That someone with an impure heart could misuse it and wish for something horrible? Did the Zone know the room was evil and wanted to see the Professor destroy it?
Kontroll is probably much better
I think the Zone is malicious and let them in knowing their wishes would fuck them up.
Stalkers know this and let people in, then rationalizing it as helping people.
Here's the last one (well, two).
>and wondering if they're worth collecting
You would definitely need them if you're going to discuss Tarkovsky's «kino».
This is a pretty good take on it, but for me doesn't answer the question of not letting the impure in and allowing one who wanted to destroy the room for good intentions so far. The malicious Zone take is pretty cool if you think of the Stalker as a slave to the Zone and must guide people to the room knowing the Zone will fuck them up. The Zone hungers. The Stalker abides.
>I couldn't stomach watching the movie in one sitting
>but I did like it
You're the reason why people think that everybody likes shit pretentiously here.
Thank you
