what does Sup Forums thinks of this show?
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Never heard of it
It's weird, all of the individual characters I find one dimensional and unappealing, but overall the show is funny.
Latina chicks both fine too
it’s surprisingly funny. Top tier waifus too
56% the TV show.
Except it's actually more like 15%
It has some really lame moments, but when its funny it's really funny. Also the captain is hilarious
looks like a lineup of coalburners who fuck their nig costars, muh tokennigs, and literal faggot jews.
no thanks
you might as well just go watch BLACKED, op user, because it's what you truly want.
I don't watch a lot of comedies but its s funny show. I appreciate sitcoms where you know you will never get "..A very special episode".
Jake > Boyle > Hitchcock + Sully > Holt > Santiago > Diaz > Terry > dog shit > Gina
.bout time you fags woke up. Get a job man.
hmm, thats pretty accurate actually
It's fine. Not a fan of the Andy Samberg character or his little friend in this
I stopped watching when peralta and the other cop start dating. Shit became lame
its american sitcom 'humour' at its blandest
is this real, anons?
Fucking love it.
There's not been a single episode so far that hasn't made me laugh.
I used to hate Andy Samberg but he's grown on me and now I think he's actually really good... although his mouth wigs me out sometimes because it's so big and it's like half of his face sometimes.
And Gina Linetti (Chelsea Peretti) is fucking hilarious and just brilliant... and Terry Crews is brilliant no matter what he's in.
I like the show because it does PC bullshit right. Two of the characters are gay, but blink and you'll miss it. That's how it should be done. Don't make a big deal out of it.
Same way I usually felt about Parks & Rec - I think it's dumb and corny, but for some reason I really like it anyway
switch Boyle and Holt and accurate
You can see how ridiculous her hips are even in her pantsuits
Amy a best
Sadly no.
it has one of the most healthy romantic relationships in TV
I love this show but haven't watched it in a year. Pontiac bandit best
Jesus christ how wrong. Jake is mid tier tryhard.
Holt > Terry > Boyle > Jake > Santiago > Hitchcock + Sully > Diaz > dog shit > Gina > Male Diaz
bing pot
Craig Robinson's also the best part about The Office
S1 had a lot about Holt being both gay and black but it was always played for laughs and never got preachy.
I did not expect Sup Forums to like it this much.
>And Gina Linetti (Chelsea Peretti) is fucking hilarious and just brilliant
God really? I absolutely hate her.
THIS
It just goes to show that you can get away with a lot of political shit (leaning to either side) if you actually try to make something good and don't get too preachy or hamfisted
scrubs for cops, but worse writing and went ultra wacky really quick
I enjoy it and watch it every day whilst I eat but christ almighty lord above is Gina absolutely insufferable, the acquiescence the rest of the characters have for antics is the most unbelievable part of the show. Americans think le banter is being mean just for the sake of it which is why all their sitcoms suffer when they don't rely on goofy slapstick humour.
That said, I like how they sneak in really dirty jokes a lot
Never watched it but I bet top left is unbearable.
I might be forgetting a "message" episode or something, but I think the trick is that it actually isn't political. It's not bothersome to have gay characters or a diverse cast, because the writers don't waste any time preaching or patting themselves on the back for it. They're three-dimensional characters who don't really make a "thing" out of their minority status.
if you like furnano, she has a porn doppledanger : Amirah Adara
What makes you say that?
Great for comedy. Gay Black emotionally muted captain man is the best.
There's a couple floating around, but that's the point. You don't think of them as "message episodes" because of the humor surrounding it. Off the top of my head is an episode in season 1 or 2 where a bunch of posters get defaced so Holt is all like "we know the nypd is terrible, call us to tell us how to do better." it's still passed off as a joke about citizens of new York being incompetent and demanding unreasonable things, but the blm message is still there.
Pretty sure it's because she acts like an annoying 15 year old, not cause she's a jew
Face blindness is a terrible disease
Thats what I was saying here Back in the 70's and 80's they called it "a very special episode" Like in the commercials they would say "This week, on a very special episode of Facts of Life" and it would be about some serious and depressing shit like drug abuse or a death in the family some shit.
Sienfeld was revolutionary because it was the first sitcom say fuck it and do away with all of that. I think I even remember Jerry saying in an interview that you will never see "A very special episode" of Seinfeld.
It has its fair share of pandering though. Like that user mentioned, with the "oh my god people hate the police station so much right now, just like in the news!"
