KENOBI leaks

KENOBI story from the current draft by Tony Gilroy (R1 script doctor). The script will be written by whoever they hire as the director (NOT Daldry; no longer attached).

First of all, this movie has NO lightsaber scenes. If you didn't like the spirituality of TLJ, you're not going to enjoy this. Obi-Wan's journey strongly parallels Luke's in TLJ.

There are also NO Force ghosts in this movie. Qui-Gon Jin appears in dreams, but not in the real-world surroundings like Ben in the OT.

Obi-Wan is destroyed by Anakin's betrayal and wants nothing to do with the Empire or the rebels (not an alliance yet). He only cares about protecting Luke.

To this end, he has almost shut himself off from the Force. He can still use the Force, but decides not to for his daily routine.

He lives in a settlement which is frequently raided by the Huts, who are gathering resources to defend themselves against the Empire.

One day, Obi-Wan has enough and fights back against a bounty hunter who robs his landlord. The bounty hunter essentially beats Obi-Wan up and nearly shoots him, but Obi-Wan is spared when the landlord offers her child's nanny droid.

Obi-Wan realises he almost left Luke vulnerable by getting involved, and vows to keep his distance.

Now he gets disturbing dreams, which serve as flashbacks to his youth. However, they are "corrupted" by the Force. As a child, Qui-Gon took Obi-Wan to a Coruscant underworld neighbourhood, to intercept a Hut clan terrorising everyone with "taxes".

Here, it becomes unclear where the real flashback ends and the "Forceback" begins. Obi-Wan says they must kill the huts for the greater good of the people. Qui-Gon asks why the Jedi must be involved, as the Force "wills" everything. Obi-Wan, now an adult, asks Qui-Gon why the Force willed Anakin to betray the Jedi. Qui-Gon has no answer, but tells Obi-Wan he has a greater part to play. (cont.)

Nice try larper

Obi-Wan travels to the Lars' farm to make sure they are safe from the Huts. Owen already has beef with him, but tells him a bounty hunter in orange stole their supplies. Obi-Wan begins investigating the Huts and the orange bounty hunter, who was the one who attacked him before.

He has more dreams, where the underworld narrative moves forward. He and Qui-Gon talk to the Huts, who state that they're just trying to make a living. Obi-Wan is angry, but Qui-Gon appears at peace with the situation. Obi-Wan is talked down and sees their point of view.

During a Forceback, the scenes repeat, but the huts are replaced by the bounty hunter in orange. The dreams become fragmented and vague, like Rey's visions in VII and VIII. Obi-Wan is incensed and brings this into the waking world.

He learns that the orange bounty hunter (Dorong) is from a wealthy planet called Sha Ro. Against Qui-Gon's wishes, he boards a freighter from Mos Eisley and travels there.

Obi-Wan navigates the heavily-occupied planet and learns that Dorong is an Imperial agent. He is intimidating the Huts to test their resolve and potential, but ultimately is wearing them down for an alliance with the Empire (for trade and hyperspace routes).

Obi-Wan returns to Tatooine, to find the settlement all but destroyed. Most of its inhabitants, inluding his landlord and her children, have perished in an Imperial attack. There are walkers and TIEs nearby.

Obi-Wan hurries to the Lars' and confirms Luke's safety once again. He tries to confide in Owen, but is brushed off.

With nobody left to turn to, he communicates with Qui-Gon. They are back at Coruscant, where Obi-Wan has killed Dorong. Qui-Gon asks why he plans on doing this. Obi-Wan states that it is for Luke's protection. At this point, Dorongo's body has become Anakin's and Qui-Gon asks why Obi-Wan really cares about Luke; because he's the Chosen One, or because he'll kill Anakin for Obi-Wan. (cont.)

would be cool.
In fact, this is too good for Disney.
So I know it's a fake

Obi-Wan travels back to Sha Ro to confront Dorong and the local Imperial government. There, he finds a battlestation: the Proto-DS-00; a 'mini Death Star.' He steals a speeder and is able to destroy it before it takes off, killing Dorong and the Moff who are aboard.

He returns to Tatooine and accepts Qui-Gon's training.

Write a book, faggot, maybe then someone will figure out what the fuck was the point in your story

>a battlestation: the Proto-DS-00; a 'mini Death Star.'
Now we know this is bullshit
There's no fucking way that Disney could so dumb to have yet another film where the threat is another superlaser weapon

No shit

There was no spirituality in the last jedi what the fuck are you even talking about?

>spirituality of TLJ

Don't be dumb of course they are.

Help us obi-wan you're our only hope.

I really don't think he was a hermit.

>scene of rey learning about the force
>luke cutting himself off from the force
>luke embracing the force

I've already seen it.

>First of all, this movie has NO lightsaber scenes. If you didn't like the spirituality of TLJ, you're not going to enjoy this. Obi-Wan's journey strongly parallels Luke's in TLJ.

>Forceback
There is no god

This is going to be horrible

>tfw no Simon of The Desert themed Obi Wan kino

They literally had a mini death star tank on TLJ

Stop larping. Saying something like "this movie has NO lightsaber scenes. If you didn't like the spirituality of TLJ, you're not going to enjoy this" is pure b8 and you know it. Get a life.

...

>mfw a LARPer will have written a better story than Disney ever could

Too shit even for Disney lad.

See:

>The bounty hunter essentially beats Obi-Wan up and nearly shoots him

And that bounty hunter? Was Boba Fett.

fake shit

he uses the force in the marvel comics

>comics
>canon

>Obi-Wan is destroyed by Anakin's betrayal and wants nothing to do with the Empire or the rebels (not an alliance yet).

Stupid cunt Kennedy really thinks "Mandatory Unretirement" is an amazing, new, wholly original plot direction for the 2020s...
