Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

>They’re heroes in a half-shell and they’re green (Hey – get a grip!)

Hahahahahahaha!...

...It's high time to stop pretending this theme song is good just because the tune was kinda catchy and stop remixing it.

It's also time to stop pretending the 2003 theme wasn't a million times better.
>not muh
fuck off

>ITT: people still don't realize that Shredder's Suite was the best song to come out of TMNT

thicc

You idiot, 2003 is literally that.

Does it better in 5 seconds.

>Michelangelo's Birthday

That was a weird fucking episode. Turtles got inflated for no reason - I assume from the context that they were meant to be killed, but the censors did not allow it, leading to OP's pic.

Weird plot, weird dialogue, shitty animation - it had it all. My favourite part is the suspended sitting Shredder:

Well it certainly comes the closests. It's the only one of the three that counts as an actual adaptation, the only one with a functional multi season spanning plot, the only one where plot twists don't seem more like forced retcons and the only one where the budget didn't really get in the way.

... But.... Well... Sadly it still largely existed to sell toys and didn't quite have the budget it deserved. Granted, at least it didn't feel completely idiotic and pointless or like a mixed bag of hal-baked ideas (ahem).

YEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH

WATCH OUT FOR SHREDDER

I'm... not sure what this is supposed to mean?

WE SHREDDED SHREDDER!

YEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH

People need to admit that Tales of the TMNT has the best fucking intro in turtle history.
youtube.com/watch?v=lHyrrfeu794

Are you trolling or what? That's literally the worst intro so far. Worse than the '87 one and the original '12 one, let alone the GOAT 2003 opening theme.

Fun fact, the showrunner behind Bazinga wrote the lyrics to the song.

It is good though. I mean in the sense that it accomplished it's goal of being a catchy tune that is very easy to remember.

Doesn't hold a candle to some other cartoon themes from the 80s though.

Wow, objectively shit taste. The 2K3 theme song is TERRIBLE. 4kids did some surprisingly great theme songs, but that wasn't one of them.

And fuck OP, the theme song WAS good because the hook is timeless and the riff gets you pumped every time. The verses don't matter, that's why the new show replaces them with some rap-rock, the important thing is that catchy fucking chorus.

Same reason why Power Rangers will forevermore keep riffing on "Go Go Power Rangers" no matter how much a cross-section of manchildren on the internet complains about it.

If you're holding the later seasons against it, remember that even Gargoyles had The Goliath Chronicles and BTAS the Kids WB era (Timm's standardizing everybody's designs makes everything more toyetic)

You literally have no taste.
Best animation, best music, best palette. And all the turtles with red masks as a throwback to comics at the end to top it off.

>tfw the version with Karai saying that
Muh dick was diamonds.

The music is complete shit, the animation is an uninspired ripoff (and trivial to actually animate), and nobody cares about the comics.

TNBA was good and he updated the designs because his style had evolved to better suit the medium (the easier something is to draw, the fewer mistakes you'll get back).

>tfw executives forced the "set it in the FUTURE!" premise on both Batman and TMNT producers, and the former did it way better than the latter
Some franchises are just luckier.

You go OP, you show that 1987 cartoon theme song who's boss.

Water torture with a deadly toilet.

youtube.com/watch?v=ZELTITgS1Xg

Show itself was superior to the other animated incarnations of the franchise though.

Too bad 80s-obsessed manchildren are hellbent on constantly shoving nostalgia for their stupid toy commercials down your throat like if they were god's gifts to man.

At least 2K3 redeemed itself with the Lost Season and especially Turtles Forever that pretty much ignored FF and BTTS.

Meanwhile the 2012 is constantly relying on pop-culture references and 80swank with severely braindead Michaelangelo and Casey Jones.

>The 2K3 theme song is TERRIBLE.
It got me pumped for every episode. Which is something the '87 song could never have done.
>And fuck OP, the theme song WAS good because the hook is timeless and the riff gets you pumped every time.
No. It's way too relaxing.

Turtles Forever was shit, and the Lost Season was dangerously close to being shit as well.

>Turtles Forever was shit

Fuck you and the horse you rode in on.
