Dude Hillary is gonna win lmao

>Dude Hillary is gonna win lmao

What did Matt & Trey mean by this?

It means they, like basically every liberal in deep blue states, was out of touch to the point they didn't even consider the possibility that Trump was more than a stupid meme and that there was a message behind the man that real people resonated with.

to be fair no one expected his victory to happen,it seemed impossible

>Impossible

It's only impossible when you say that Texas is in play and a potential lock for Hillary

I mean you'd have to be getting high off your own farts to think that's logical

Go to any website that isn't your hug box and you will realize the truth. Nobody is listening to the message or learning anything of what actually placed Trump on power. They are all saying the same thing: He is a joke and people who voted for him are stupid assholes that deserve physical violence.

The US is divided and divided you fall.

Are you implying even the millions of people who voted for Trump didn't expect him to win, and that his victory is founded on the country's largest spite vote because Hillary is literally unelectable?

you'd be right

>He is a joke and people who voted for him are stupid assholes that deserve physical violence.
How do you people type shit like this unironically?

I mean, we had tons of jokes about how Garrison was doing way better in the polls than Hillary. They even had that debate where she kept accidentally sabotaging herself.

*Electoral college resonated with
He lost the popular vote, the majority of americans did not vote and the majority of those that did didn't vote for him.

My favourite leftist fantasy is that literally half of their entire country is super ultra deeply racist and that's how Trump got elected, but none of these racists gave a shit when Obama was running, two terms in a row at that.

learn how to read before using that itchy trigger finger of yours

Liberals love to whip out "Tyranny of the Majority" when it suits them

How does it feel when it's on the other foot?

Did you read the post? Weather your American or not your still a left leaning retard living in your bubble. I hate all politicians, but democrats die first. Always kill traitors before you kill an enemy.

I'm pretty sure he was being ironic, actually.

user, even disregarding the fact that he actually had to win the popular vote in each of those states in order to secure the electoral ones, the electoral college consists of real people too. I'm not sure why I even have to explain this.

>He lost the popular vote, the majority of americans did not vote and the majority of those that did didn't vote for him.
She won the popular vote by 2.9 million. In the grand scheme of the United States, do you fucking know how little of a pittance that actually is?

They didn't even planned the episode of his victory, they had to ruch and remake it, so it ended being even shittier than the avarege south park episode

>The US is divided and divided you fall.

Only because people like this refuse to do anything about it but bitch and moan. They're the one's dividing the country, not Trump.

Oh whoops you're right I'm drunk so my reading comprehension is shit. I'm just so used to triggered liberals.

did you not read his post or not comprehend it

both are equally likely given your image and opinions

Hillary Clinton lost more electoral college votes than any other president in history (most of them going to Sanders IIRC)

#BreakingTheGlassCeiling

I voted for Trump and expected Hillary to win.
That assumption, I suspect, is part of why he won. A lot the Hillary supporters assumed she would win, so if hey didn't have time to get to the voting booths, no big deal.
And the Trump voters expected him to lose, so they knew he needed all the support he could get.

I said I was sorry please forgive me...

>Go to any website that isn't your hug box

Sup Forums isn't a hugbox retard. Proof is you posting here

The "electoral college" line is completely disingenuous. I'm watching faggy Californian college kids protesting and explaining to people that "nah dude the electoral college is horrible it wasn't a REAL win", but it's solely because their side lost. If Hillary had lost the popular vote but won the election, these exact same individuals would be swearing up and down and screeching from rooves that the electoral college is the single most important institution in the country.

Because they never learned anything from their utter defeat. You all still posses that "us vs them" mentality that is keeping you divided.

they where expecting america to not elect a total ass of a billionaire who ran on purely reactionary beliefs.

You also have to keep in mind that even if Hillary won she'd still be our most unpopular president. Regardless of the circumstances, people just didn't want to vote for her.

Trump had a 30% chance of victory and squeaked by with an EC win by a matter of a few thousand votes in key districts.

His win was not statistically impossible but was less likely. Even the Trump campaign didn't think they had a chance, to the point that they were already calling the election rigged before it had occurred.

I completely forgot about that, actually. I remember there was a lot of hot air being blown that electors would go rogue and not vote for Trump, but IIRC in the end more Blue states went rogue and only one or two Red ones did.

Man, that seems like ages ago.

this

>Electoral college
we really need to get rid of that and become a direct Democracy(and simultaneously make Voting mandatory)

I mean yeah, they do. Conservatives unironically deserve death, plain and simple.

Exactly, you poor dumb, little, fat man.

also allow voting over the internet and allow teenagers to vote

Were the big parties even trying?I mean at least Obama Bush and Bill were popular, people believed that they could do a good job while half of each side hated their own candidates

Yeah that was extremely funny. Truthfully, Hillary almost lost even MORE votes but circumstances prevented it from happening. For example, one elector in Maine was adamant about casting a vote for Sanders but he was forced to change his vote. I think there was two more circumstances like that in Colorado and somewhere else.

Daily reminder than one of the critical 530 votes in the highly divisive 2016 election went to a fucking bird.

Jesus fuck no. The founding fathers would be spinning so fast in their graves we could hook them up to generators and use them as a source of green energy for the next thousand years.

Trump called the electoral college unfair before he won it

I agree.

Two million is still pretty huge dude

This. If we let everyone vote Republicans will lose.

We need to go back to the system where only the people that own land, and thus have an invested stake in the country's well being, are allowed to vote. To prevent the cultivation of a welfare class that vote solely on who will keep the gibs flowing in.

Whether you like it or not, Trump IS the president now. So, y'know, he's RUNNING YOUR FUCKING COUNTRY. The fact that liberals are actively hoping that their own president fails (which would be bad news for YOU, because YOU LIVE IN THE COUNTRY) rather than hoping he succeeds despite being upset he won at all, shows how deeply fucked up their us vs them mentality has become. The fact that your side would hope for failure which would mean negative consequences for you, simply so you can say I told you so, is terrifying. Being completely unable to acknowledge whenever your President (rarely) does do something successful, because it would mean admitting your opponents aren't 100% incompetent AND evil, and you can't view the world as anything but a competition where you can't cede an inch, is terrifying.

t. A fucking leaf

WHY DIDN'T THEY POKEMON GO TO THE POLLS?!!!!

The people who can change the law went to law school and understand why that's a fucking stupid idea. Abolishing the electoral college would cause our elections to be decided almost entirely by California and the major cities. Even in the electoral system, that's already a huge problem. You'd be opening a flood gate that would fundamentally alter how Presidents are selected, you can't just get rid of it.

>we really need to get rid of that and become a direct Democracy
Get over it already. If that were the case California and NYC would only matter

>Sup Forums isn't a hugbox retard.

Sure it isn't, user.

It would take a 9/11 level disaster for Trump to be able to win in 2020.

All of the margins of the states he won by were so thin, he probably lost a majority of those voters in his first week.

The only possible state that he could win in 2020 that went for Hillary is Rhode Island, every other state is ripe for the Democrat picking.

As long as the Dems keep being shit at advertising (Ossoff) and shit at messaging (Clinton) he will win though.

Do any amount of research on it and you'd understand why that's a horrible idea.

It must be so very very painful to lose in this way, it must hurt so very much, I don't envy your dad position at all
I bet you really wanted her to win user, I bet you really fucking wanted it, I bet you sat there with your little smile telling yourself it was going to be fine as it all fell apart
And that alone is worth years of putting up with your bullshit
A beautiful memory I will treasure forever
Thank you so very much for this user

yes, lets follow exactly what characters from 200 years ago as an example of how to run things in this day and age. Quite frankly the American election system is already very different from how the founding fathers set it up.

That's actually a really big margin in the grand scheme of the United States...

That isn't the point I was getting at.

>I'm a caring smart democrat
>Kill all who dont agree with me
Okay fascist

This entire thread is like Visions of the Anointed come to life.

All the polls in Los Angeles said Hillary"s got the election in the bag. Turns out they never considered Trump would win instead.

The only chance he has if if he runs against Clinton again. I dont think the Democrats understand how many people hate her and vote against her just because of who she is.

>It would take a 9/11 level disaster for Trump to be able to win in 2020.
>I can predict the political environment in 2020

He's got 3 and a half more years. Impeachment memes aside, if he makes it to 2020 and continues to pursue his campaign promises the way he has been doing then you're going to see that people are going to trust him when he says he'll get shit done. Imagine how impressive it would be if the wall was even half-finished by 2020. People said that would never get built. If that thing is up, Trump could promise America the moon and they'd probably vote for him. Not to mention distrust of the media is at an all time high and nothing is helping to fix that so 3 and half years of pissed liberal comedians and biased reporting is going to have a huge effect on how people view liberalism in general.

These next three years will alter the political landscape for the next decade.

How is that by the way? I still need to finish reading Intellectuals and Society.

>everyone calls you a fucking retard/faggot no matter what you say
>hugbox

im not hoping he fails im hoping his agenda will fail unless he is willing to make changes to suit it for more people.

>man that real people resonated with
>real people

White niggers aren't people anymore than black niggers are.

It's not like Trump wasn't doing the exact same thing with Obammer.
Both right and left are a bunch of crybabies that fall for the stupidest conspiracy shit when things don't go their way.

Reminder that if the DNC hadn't betrayed the people who put their faith in it by choosing the person that everyone hated, they could have won. They would've won with Bernie, with John Kerry, with Joe Biden, with almost ANYONE but Hillary.

The best/worst part is, they haven't learned a thing from the 2016 election. They're too fucking stupid to see that you can't shove a candidate down people's throats.

The campaign promises are going to be what kills him.

A majority of Trump supporters I know voted for him because "he's not Hillary and it's not like he will be able to do or attempt half of the things he says".

Low and behold all of them started to hate him within the first 10 days because they realized he COULD ban people from the country and COULD build a wall.

So as long as he tries to continue banning people from our country (which I think is ok desu, it's just risky to single out an entire group of people instead of not allowing ANYONE in the country for a bit) and trying (and failing) to build a wall, he will lose.

I agree with you, user.

Suddenly it's archaic because you lost. Boo hoo

Honestly all the criticism of him is overblown. Read up on what has actually been improving.
>Low and behold all of them started to hate him within the first 10 days because they realized he COULD ban people from the country and COULD build a wall.
Fuck off with this "Durr I hate Trump now!" meme. Something like 98% of Trump voters still support him.

Why in the absolute fuck would anyone vote for Trump if they were completely against even the idea of a border wall?

Instead we have 25% of population taking rights away from 75% of the population.

Was politics this fucking interesting before this election cycle?
I never really paid attention to it before, except for the occasional gun bill hitting the Senate..

No, it's never never never been this interesting. Not in the last half century.

This will be the chapter your grandkids will want to get to in class when they're studying modern American history.

Which rights are being taken away from 75% of the population?

At my old job I had a conversation with a guy that boiled down to when Obama was President I hated the electoral college but now that Trump won I can really see its merits. It literally happens in both directions and is pretty funny.

Trey is Republican, Matt is Libertarian.
Guess from where the aut-right is standing everything is left and liberal.

Yeah, pretty shitty.

All he has to do is
Take away all funding for social justice programs in college
Enforce some kind of regulation on news, Obama took away an anti propaganda law and right after that every journalists started pushing fake news, fucking violent thug that guy was
Those two are the socialists big recruiting pillars,

are you saying fascism doesnt work? a stronger government with control over the masses is the key to uniting humanity and progressing in technology.

Oh, we're just talking about Sup Forums? I'll give you that one

Because Trump with a border wall is better than Hillary without one.

>The Tau advanced more in their short history than the Imperium in thousands of years

>with John Kerry

Kerry inspired so little confidence he couldn't beat the warmongering hillbilly clown in a 2nd term nobody wanted.

If he didn't have that 2% in 2016 he would have lost. 2% of the amount of voters he had is about 1.25 million. If he had even lost 300,000 of those voters spread across certain states, he would have lost.

guns

The Democrats currently have committed a cardinal sin, and it's evident in the Clinton Campaign's language.
>I'm with her
>it's her turn/time
>right side of history
The Democrats have made the massive mistake that societies inevitably becomes more liberal in time, and never becomes more conservative, and that eventually there will be a point where the country is 100% unanimously liberal and conservatism conceptually will be lost to the anuls of history and looked back upon as an evil that misguided individuals got caught up in. It's why they stopped appealing the working class, lost the rust belt, their entire campaign boiled down to moral shaming and the insistence that the populace OWED them their votes, that they had a moral obligation to vote Clinton.

Traditionally, the minority vote has always been 95% Democrat. The Dems still won the minority vote, but Trump had more than quintuple the average minority vote of a Republican, as well as the highest ever Republican minority vote. This happened in an election, in a political climate, where identity politics are incredibly strong, and much of the Dems' platform, as well as both mainstream media and academia and entertainment were denouncing Trump as a racist homophobic bigot, and he got a larger proportion of the women's and the gay vote than other Republicans do and the largest minority Reublican vote in the party's history. What have the Democrats and liberals done in response after he won? They've doubled down on the identity politics and their "Trump is every single -ism and Republicans are literally Satan" rhetoric.

Yes, Clinton is un-fucking-electable, but if the Dems don't change their tune, they could easily repeat their mistakes with a new candidate next time.

I can agree with it's purpose, but still think it does need tweaking. If a majority of counties go one way, but say 2 decide the outcome? It's like how California is divided with Northern California being forced to deal with SoCal and San Fran faggots and their pet projects despite almost every Northern County being heavily red or blue dog at most. Or how you can rig population for voter fraud in the electoral by lying about citizens and deaths.

Someone wants to eat a bullet.

Tau are nippons of Wh40k, they only advnaced after contact wit other civilizations and didn't create anything new like the weebway

Trump voters are taking away gun rights?

>ignoring the fact that that only happened because of a freak warp storm where they were isolated for fake time that was about as long as the imperium's without outside threats

>muh 2 gorillion
Compared to the 300~ million population of the United States, 2 million is jack shit.
I also don't doubt that some of those 2 million votes were from illegals and/or dead people.

People do love fascism. 40k and Planetside 2 proved that.

Centrist here
The reason i voted for trump is because hillary is fucking corrupt and would ruin free speech
George washington was right about everything in his final warning
Fuck the left and right you radical assholes

Also, Trump is easily one of the most actively hated politicians in recent American history. People are deluded if they think votes weren't being thrown out somewhere.

The wall is a continuous project regardless of who gets elected. The only difference between the two was Hilary wanted a little less wall and would be more willing to pay her cronies to do it versus Trump a little bigger and his cronies. Either way, the wall gets bigger. Heck, our segment got replaced with massive concrete slabs, or something like that, the day of Trump inauguration.

>Those two are the socialists big recruiting pillars

Too bad this is the united states and you don't get to dictate what people do and don't believe.

Personal rights and freedoms are such antiquated concepts
You know what we need back? Totalitarianism

The Tau have the advantage of not really getting the attention of anyone else.

I think hilarious is a better word.
