Once Upon a Time in the West is the best
Was thinking about watching The Sacketts

Think it's fairly uncontroversial to praise this cinematic experience, definitely enjoy it myself
On the other hand, how good is the gook version?

A great story.
Or...
A slow moving western like a thick chili. With full hearty chunks of steak to chew on that are so good you want more. And it delivers over and over and over until you are stuffed full.
Immerse yourself in it. Turn your phone off. Turn the lights down low. And just soak it up. The music, the body language acting, the humor, drink it in.
You have to watch them in order.
It wasn't bad. But it got tiresome reading sub-titles two hours in. Lots of cool shit and funny jokes.
kino. long kino though. take some breaks if you need to.
Watched it with my parents this last Sunday.
Wonderful experience user, I'd recommend you watch with someone, it's certified /dad/kino

Thanks reddit
No way, once upon a time is way too bloated, and it only has one good song, the harmonica theme. And there's no way you can tell me that the final shootout in that movie matches the good the bad and the ugly
it's a good film and deserves its praise. however, for a few dollars more is the superior film and more underappreciated film
AAAHAAHAAAAAAAAAAH

This right fucking here.
A solid reddit flick
Clint eastwood is so beautiful in this movie
>the harmonica theme

>children of men
>the big lebowski
I fucking hate with all my heart liberal nu-males
A very very very good western with a great ambience. But like most Clint Eastwood movies, it's epic, but it can be a bit slow in parts.
BUT you also must consider that the older the cinema, typically, the slower the pace. Each decade you go back you notice, on average, substantially slower moving movies. This holds true up until you hit the late 80s, then they basically have the same fast-pace of movies from the present era.
But I'm sure, for the era of it's time, it was pretty high paced high action compared to the westerns that came before. You compare Clint Eastwood westerns to the earlier John Wayne Westerns and they're substantially grittier and much faster paced with much better action.
topkek fwiend
A very very very good post
You're in for The Trio by Ennio Morricone.
Absolute 100% undefeated brand new species music kino.
For A Few Dollars More is ultimately better.
This is right besides the part about GBU being good.
The shootout is the only good scene.
But it's a prequel. Through information given through dialogue you find out that battles and whatnot during the timeline of the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly predate those in A Fistful of Dollars or For a Few Dollars More. It's intentional too. Why do you think Eastwood finds the iconic poncho from the other two at the end of this movie?
