Will there be another vampire kino as vicious and story-oriented as pic related ever again?

I hope they bring Blade back, but who could play him? Snipes is too old and Sticky Fingaz is...eh.

If they going to remake it, they better bring a chad-based actor as passionate and ruthless-looking as Snipes. That said, at this moment I can hardly see someone who can endure or surpass his old school combination of vision and aesthetics. But who knows, maybe there are some promising candidates out there who might do the job.

One of the things that made Snipes so good in the role was the he was a martial arts practitioner in real life and that made the fight scenes so much better. Unless they drilled the shit of of a "regular" actor (like they did with the cast of The Matrix) Blade would lose a lot of his edge (no pun intended)

fuck you, retarded little shit. Leave it alone.

No fuck you prick I was 18 when Blade came out. That movie was and still is the shit!

Blade was shit after the first and should stay dead the best bit about blade was the vamps blended in literally looked human then the sequels was all about that resi style mouth opening up

Michael Jai White then?

kek you're probably not even 18 now

I thought about White but he's got the same problem (age). Is Blade Marvel/Disney property yet? I figure they could do what they've done so far and take some no-name actor and turn him into the character.

The story in the films went to shit after the 1st movie.

I think its because the fear that the vampires had about blade was not present in the sequels.

In the first you can see how he is basically like a walking fucking nightmare. Blade is to the vampires what vampires are to us.

But in the sequels he's basically just another vampire who just happens to walk in the daylight

>Michael Jai White then?
fucking idiot

you already have your twilight. that's the vampire kino you deserve

to be fail he's dealing with the vampire equivalent of a seal team in blade 2 and most of the others he's dealing with are super vampire junkie monsters, the regular vampires are still scared of him.

>he hasn't watched Blade 3 where there are Dominic Purcell kino, Jessica Biel and Parker Posey human/vampire supreme waifu combo, one of the few good Ryan Reynolds roles and a Triple H anger and rage spicy addition

>to be fail
fair

There was a HUGE tone shift when they brought the spic toro in to direct blade 2. Compare the club scene in both movies and you'll immediately notice the difference and it's literally like you said, because blade is the vampire boogeyman.

Blade 2 is a huge campfest and while the story and premise is alright the handling of a lot of things(the blood pack for example) was pretty shit. As a kid I loved blade 2, and maybe that's why it was made that way, but rewatching it as an adult after rewatching blade 1 was a huge dissapointment.

Vampires are honestly too fucking cool of a concept to be completely dropped

yeah I never understood the praise 2 got

Nomak is a great villain (not a particularly complex one, just a good actor doing a good job with a good role).
I like the challenge the reapers bring, and the way the vampires are scared shitless of them. Whistler even lampshades it. The actions scenes are pure kino, particularly the one with Nomak storming the Damaskinos' base. The scene where he roars as he is standing atop a pile of corpses drinking their blood has always stuck with me.

Am I the only one who thought Drake was a good fucking character? I mean the first thing he did when the vamps found him was kill one of them. He was almost as disgusted by vampires as Blade was despite being their "father".

>Am I the only one who thought Drake was a good fucking character?
the concept wasn't bad but the way it was portrayed in the movie was.

He still remains as one of my favourite characters in the trilogy, though they could've pushed his harsh and animalistic personality more, i.e. reveal more aspects of his past life experience. But overall it was a good strike with him being the final villain of the series. I remember when I watched the movie as a boy how the part where the little girl was hiding in the tunnels and suddenly Drake appeared at her roaring with a changed grotesque face structure scared the shit out of me. Today that scene still hits me more or less every time.

Idris Elba duh

you're a fucking sissy user.

Everyone has some sort of its own memorized impactful "traumatic" moment/s from a movie/tv show from their childhood that still reminds of itself subconsciously when the occasions are to appear.
