>99% of all war movies show USA winning

>99% of all war movies show USA winning
but user......... USA hasnt won a single war since WWII
what's the 1%? apocalypse now?
>Showing up late after being taken completely by surprise two whole years into a global war and trying to claim credit for the achievements of Russia is 'winning'
USA has never won a war aside from against itself.
What about the gulf war?
damn you actually right
yea and i also count anti war movies like hurt locker
the Korean War is the only war we've been in since then and i believe it's still technically going on
>the US has fought an actual war since WWII
Which are some WWII sovietkinos?
>he conveniently forgets the big one where a bunch of malnourished rice farmers won
So you're saying USA lost the ww2?
congress never declared war it was just a military conflict
Battle of Moscow (1985)
I don't think he's saying that USA lost, but simply that they didn't win, seeing as how it was the Soviet Union that forced the surrender of both Germany and Japan
>military conflict
>not a war
The absolute States of United
Congress doesn't declare war because it's bad PR. Everyone knows Vietnam was a war
en.wikipedia.org
That's some pretty shitty damage control.
As long as you little traps set the goal posts I'd imagine no wars will ever be won.
it's not the whole movie, but Fate of a Man
A limited war
The only wars that matter are total.
>the Soviet Union that forced the surrender of both Germany and Japan
Strange that the USSR never shared in the occupation of japan and received less than half of post-war germany.
>non-americans talk about how much they hate america on an american message board using an american computer in the english language
feels good to be a citizen of the only country that matters
>he thinks wars can be "won" or "lost" like its a black and white concept
Soviets didn't want to occupy Germany and offered to hand all of it over to a neutral democratic government. They also occupied huge swathes of the Japanese Empire, IE Manchuria and Korea.
It was fear of a Soviet invasion that caused the Japanese to surrender to the Americans and the Americans to leave the Japanese government largely intact, not fear of American atomic bombs
>american computer
95% of all computer parts are made in china.
and america didnt invent the computer, either.
also, the ENGlish language is obviously from ENGland.
t. pedro avraham nakamura
vietnam was a total war
there was basically no limits to what was strategically bombed
They won the War on Terrorism.
please post a picture where only 52% of the girls are white to more accurately reflect the state of the United States
One of those names is American, though. Nice try.
>not fear of atomic bombs
it was definitely the atomic bombs my man.
it definitely wasn't because conventional bombing raids were far more destructive than the atomic bombs employed at that time
We win battles, not wars and that’s what really matters
>Total war where they were afraid of crossing a line on a map in case it upset the Chinese or the Soviets
Try again. They tried to fight that war with one arm tied behind their backs.
Um... NO sweetie. United states is currently 'winning' the eternal war for Israel
avraham i guess, america is a de facto second israel after all.
Yeah. So none of the last 4940140 wars in two decades have been wars because no one signed a document like they did centuries ago.

>USA joined the war late
>Muricans obsessed with ww2 more than anyone else.
Wow look at all those cute “wars” that hardly mattered
But you fuckers lost a war against literal rice farmers and no amount of damage control or semantical gymnastics can deny it.
>Soviets didn't want to occupy Germany and offered to hand all of it over to a neutral democratic government. They also occupied huge swathes of the Japanese Empire
Nice excuses, alexy. Also, Japan never really had an "empire". It was never consolidated nor did it ever exist outside a time of war.
As far as your claim that you won by scaring everyone . . . obvious fiction.
Post-war you ended up with all the shitholes.
The point of only dropping 2 was a scare tactic. They didn't know if we had more. It was to "show what we could do" if they didn't surrender. It even worked on the Soviets too. Why do you think there was a fucking cold war?
>largest contributor to allied victory
OH NOONONONNOONNOOOHOHOHHOOHOAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Again, it wouldn't matter if the USA actually did have an unlimited supply of atomic bombs because the USA did have an unlimited supply of conventional bombs which did much more damage than atomic bombs and this did not coerce a Japanese surrender. It was only after the Soviets wiped out the entire Japanese army in Manchuria and Korea and threatened to invade mainland Japan that Japan surrendered.
Most of those wars helped curtail Soviet hegemony around the world. Although the Current middle eastern wars are useless.
>most of those wars helped cement Israeli hegemony around the world
ftfy
>largest contributor to allied victory
So this is the power of american education, huh?
Oh blahblahblah
so this is the power of American education. There was a Japanese Empire that existed in peacetime for decades prior to World War II. Japan acquired Taiwan in 1895, for example.
Japan could have surrendered to anyone when it became obvious they were on the losing side. Absolutely anyone. They could have surrendered to the Soviets if they wanted, to England, to fucking France if they so chose, and at that moment they would have been completely untouchable by America without America having to also declare war on that nation. That is how surrender in modern war works. That is what surrender is for. Japan picked America because they believed America was the biggest cuck who would give them the easiest ride, and they were absolutely right.
>Taiwan
>empire
You need to think about what a real empire is, third-worlder.
lol soycuck bitch babby eurocuck just admit you got btfo
>didn't literally keep the USSR running with massive amount of equipment, supplies and food
No US in WWII means Hitler takes over all of Europe and Japan takes most of Asia.
>person who was circumcised as an infant calling anyone a third worlder
you can't make this shit up
>cheese dick shitskins talking about dicks
yeah those brave guns and food really turned the tide of the war didnt they
>Japan could have surrendered to anyone when it became obvious they were on the losing side. Absolutely anyone.
You're quite the little fool. Japan had to surrender to the Americans. The Americans were already occupying their home islands and dropping nukes on them. Americans were the only ones capable of launching an amphibious invasion on them.
>they believed America was the biggest cuck who would give them the easiest ride
nah they didn't want half their country turned into a starving communist Shithole and they were absolutely right.
Nice argument. Great IQ.
They kept the USSR from being completely buttblasted once Germany turned on them. You do realize the Nazis could almost see Moscow at one point right?
We sent them fuel, trucks, tanks, ammo, food, etc. beyond their wildest dreams.
the battle of Moscow was in 1941. Lend-Lease didn't have any practical effect on Soviet logistics until 1943. try reading a book or even a simple wikipedia page ameribros
good lord soyboy, and why do you think they were able to push the Germans back into Germany? They were using American equipment and aided by the western front.
And? None of that means anything. They could have contacted the Soviets saying, "We surrender to you this is your land now please come claim it," and there isn't a single thing America could have done to contradict that without starting another international incident. You fuckers seem to think WWII happened in a vacuum before the existence of telegrams, and that surrender is never a political choice. Read a fucking book.
"I would like to express my candid opinion about Stalin’s views on whether the Red Army and the Soviet Union could have coped with Nazi Germany and survived the war without aid from the United States and Britain. First, I would like to tell about some remarks Stalin made and repeated several times when we were "discussing freely" among ourselves. He stated bluntly that if the United States had not helped us, we would not have won the war. If we had had to fight Nazi Germany one on one, we could not have stood up against Germany's pressure, and we would have lost the war. No one ever discussed this subject officially, and I don't think Stalin left any written evidence of his opinion, but I will state here that several times in conversations with me he noted that these were the actual circumstances. He never made a special point of holding a conversation on the subject, but when we were engaged in some kind of relaxed conversation, going over international questions of the past and present, and when we would return to the subject of the path we had traveled during the war, that is what he said. When I listened to his remarks, I was fully in agreement with him, and today I am even more so."

>listen to your boy, commie
>and there isn't a single thing America could have done to contradict that
America would have strenuously "contradicted" that, little fool.
By declaring open war on the Soviets at the end of WW2? You think that would have ended well for America? That the rest of the world, still pumped up over Germany, would sit back and let that play out without getting involved? Or do you think they would just completely avoid a shot at an open goal like that? Are you fucking retarded?
By putting themselves and the might of the American military in their way, for starters, little fool.
>any country being willing to defy the US when they were the only ones with nukes
All those roasties are wearing copious amounts of makeup.
Girls wear makeup.
>When faced with questions relating to international politics and warfare the responses are, "AMERRRRRICAAHH, FUCK YEAH!"
Outstanding. I thought Team America was a satire but it turns out it was a documentary.
Honestly though if military, economic, cultural might isn't power then what is?
Your cartoonish response is duly noted.
The threat of Stalins Russia completely destroying your way of life. America didn't pose such a threat.
Yeah. The mighty Soviet Navy at the end of WW2 was quite a threat.
Having power and having the power to take on the entire world isn't the same thing. For an example of this, look at Nazi Germany. They were strong as fuck, and they reached too far and made too many enemies and got raped for it. Even if you think America was the single most powerful nation in the entire world at that time, that doesn't mean they wouldn't have gotten raped the same way if they overstepped the mark. This is a basic rule that has defined international politics since the dawn of international politics, since the nosebone tribe and the platelip tribe decided they were too weak to take on the fatgut tribe alone and joined together against them.
>america
>culture
pick one
This board is literally American culture. Deal with it
At least we're not (((German)))

>since the nosebone tribe and the platelip tribe decided they were too weak to take on the fatgut tribe
Wow. Nice historic analysis. Really backs up your immature outlook.
>doesn't mean they wouldn't have gotten raped
Phrases like this really display your learnedness. Sup Forums is just packed with scholarly types that know history and stuff.
