I love bears but I'd be terrified of one in real life. They seem really timid in some videos but you know it's a dice roll whether or not they'll maul you for no reason at all.
Watch The Edge for a great survival film with a bear in it. They used a real life trained bear. It's one of my favourite movies.

Basically this. You gotta love the big scary animals like Bart the Bear that are just gentle giants who love the owners that look after thema. Same reason you see weird cases of predators empathing onto prey like lions who adopt gazelles. Would love to chill with a friendly bear. Likewise that one bear who ate the grizzly man was made out to be and sounded like just a gropable son of a bitch.
