Credits rolling.
Happy endings
Is that before or after the unabridged anal fisting scene
Funky song and dance number
...
with the nonwhites still living
A few seconds after the climax
It was all a dream
Literally the way capeshit does it, with 'post-credits scenes'. It's like when you look under a Happy Meal box to see what next month's toys will be.
Fant4stic's ending
lol, movies are so fucking bad
>"DON'T FORGET TO LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE"
name one (1) youtuber that does this
Zooming out slowly
Blatant sequel setup
I didn't know that was a thing on those boxes
sequel hook mid credits scene
There also are weekly updated nuclear launch codes and how-to instructions to create sarin gas
Very inappropriate for kids
>"But I can't help but feel like we forgot something..."
>cuts to side character comedically emerging from rubble
"Yes!"
Some guy dressed as the joker breaks into the cinema and guns you down as the plane scene plays in the background
This. Unless it's a musical, then that's par for the course. Anything that ends in dancing is immediately shit.
Thank you This is the End you solidified my contempt for your leads and film
Post credit scenes
I don't know the worst but the best is definitely with a blooper reel
No taste
You just reminded me what the worst is
>Fake outtakes for animated films
>he doesn't know
shut the hell up
Toy Story 2's was great
he said worst way user
Came here for this. Kek.
Beat me to it!
>This is the End
Comedykino and you can't deal with it.
Everyone standing around together and laughing.
With 3 out of the 4 cast members looking defeated in front of a green screen, advertising a dandruff shampoo.
Some of it is fine. But the build up to the Backstreet boys is horrible
It can be done well.
Man I haven't seen that in ages
Return of the King. God what a dragged on piece of tediousness. If you're going to last 40 more minutes after the fucking ring is the destroyed you could have at least throw in when Saruman fucked up the Shire for a bit
The song at the end of Shrek 1 was kino
>watching movies for children
youve exposed yourself
That's more like a state of mind than a dream.
>but its ironic!
Close, but the worst way is
>few minutes of credits, director, writers, cast
>pointless scene that everyone has to stop shuffling out of the theater to see
>credit scroll
Someones arm coming out of something, like a grave
>staying for a post credit scene
>watching movies where they'd even do such a thing
Same idea. It's not really happening.
>Not watching the credits
of course a bug fodder larper would stay for credits
Happy endings
using the best music for the credits
Name three motion pictures (or higher) which do this
>it was all a dream/hallucination/premonition
a fucking link to a website
youtube.com
Cloverfield
It was all a dream
>the protagonist used to read word up magazine
I used to read word up magazine
It was all just a dream is my most hated
This. Especially when it's a blatant sequel setup and then it smash cuts to credits.
I liked it more when movies were self-contained. But no, now everything has to be "epic" and it has to drag on pointlessly. Some directors can tell the story of a person's entire life in two hours, but we REALLY need four fucking movies to explain how Katnis overthrows the patriarchy.
cliffhanger
Wizard of Oz, bros.
haha nothing bersonal
>a blatant sequel setup
Sometimes they do it as a joke, not intending it to actually be a setup for the sequel. 21 Jump Streets "you're going to college" was just a joke on sequels, then they got greenlit for a sequel.
That's why 22 Jump Street goes through 10 hypothetical sequels to keep it from happening again
Which is why Sony is doing a MIB/21 Jump Street crossover instead of 23 Jump Street.
Tie between
1. Love conquers all (love as justification or means)
2. And that explains how humans are on earth
&
3. It was all just a dream.
FUNNY PICTURES!
Those are so lame, "mega happy endings". But I can't ask for movies with bad/sad ending because then that gives it away, I just have to get lucky. Movies where the protag loses/dies are awesome
>Truly.. this was -insert movie title here-
thats also a cliche that is not even enjoyable to me even
character x never hooks up with character y despite it being teased the entire movie.
Literally the only reason not to do this is just edgy contrarionism that always fails
>just edgy contrarionism
it's how it is in real life. Movies are written by men to be wish fulfillment, that's why the dork always pines for the girl, admires her from a little distance, but she's got a boyfriend who is revealed to be a jerk and bad for her/to other people, and the dork "wins" her. The guy who wrote it is just thinking of that chick in high school he might have genuinely liked and wrote how it should have gone, in his mind
Would you prefer if all movies ended like No Country for Old Men? Emotionally hollow endings.
Don't put words in my mouth, lady
Not always.
Dickens was forced to change the ending of Great Expectations because people were literally seething that Pip didn't get the girl.
this is kino
>camera pans to closeup of dead villian.
>eye opens abruptly
>horror movie ends with jumpscare
A jump scare.
this
and also the when the people drive a car then suddenly hit a deer as an early jumpscare at the begining of your movie is also shit tier
he said worst not most kino idiot
same
the stupid sudden cut to bla
*lel credits* roll
fedora tipping
i liked it, made me want to watch it again to see if i missed something
>final scene
>silence
>silence
>silence
>SUDDEN LOUD BURST OF MUSIC
>Directed by....
the stupid sudden cut to BRaAAAPPPppPPP
In a manner that betrays the progression of the story and character's development.
If the movie is bad they haven't earned that right.
>movie ends with slideshow explaining what happened to each character afterward
>Slab SquatThrust
i used to read word up magazine
nice reference lel
>Which is why Sony is doing a MIB/21 Jump Street crossover instead of 23 Jump Street.
I have a feeling neither that nor the female 21 Jump St will actually make it to production.
main character lives
main character dies is worse. Talk about sad and a let down
Not if they die a fulfilling hero's death or their death means something. If they die like a bitch off screen then the movie has a shit ending, you know the movie I'm talking about. Any unsatisfying depression core ending sucks. So do endings that are too ambiguous and endings that come out of nowhere and the film just ends without resolving important stuff.
a character dying at all is frustrating and makes the movie feel like a waste of time for the most part.
that's how it's suppose to feel
I guess the movie was only pretending to be retarded. hmm well I still don't like it
