Does anybody else just kind of not give a shit about Black Panther?

Does anybody else just kind of not give a shit about Black Panther?

I mean, the plot has been entirely revealed. We how it will be resolved because Black Panther is still around for Infinity War. The only reason to watch it is for cool visuals, but to be honest the visuals don't look that great. But if there were cute girls in the movie I would have watched it anyway. Problem is the only girls we know are in the movie are fugly as fuck, so I'm not interested in that either.

Every Marvel feels the same so I just stopped going to go see them. Didn't even bother seeing the new Spiderman movie. I might watch the Infinity War movie but that's pretty much it.

>i don't give a shit about Black Panther
>makes a thread about it

I’m just sick of capeshit in general, especially marvel. Their movies are hyped to hell before release, get released to great reviews by critics and audiences that are too dense to realize they’re being fed the same shit as before, and then is immediately forgotten about and the hype for the next one begins. I would not care if the movies themselves actually had some variety or there weren’t a ton released every year, but it’s ridiculous how over saturated they’ve become. Now I’m supposed to believe marvel move number 36271826 is saving blockbusters? Give me a fucking break.

I think the premise of Wakanda is kind of cool. I have an interest in conspiracy theories and secret societies and organizations, so an movie about and entire secret country I think is pretty interesting. I never could get into the Marvel superhero movies so I doubt I'll be seeing it in Theaters.

>the plot has been entirely revealed
>hero obviously saves everyone and lives
tldr capeshit

>free advertising

...

>looks worse than avengers 1
wtf happened?

The last capeshit I saw was Age of Ultron whenever that came out. I'm making it a goal of mine to never see another capeshit again.

I'm actually somewhat impressed Hollywood found a way to keep making the same movie: give it a "social justice" angle.

wanting to discuss the controversy and cultural reaction around a movie does not equate care towards the actual film user.

Would you invest in a black business?

>WAAAA WAAA WAAA

“What are the kids talking about these days”
It’s so cynical it hurts. Almost feel bad for the brainlets who fall for it

>the controversy
>ohh noo! BLACKS = controversy

This looks worse than the statue of liberty wolverine thing from the first X-Men movie. What the shit happened to the the CGI there?

What did he mean by this?

>We how it will be resolved because Black Panther is still around for Infinity War.
As opposed to what?

We know he gets his ass beat by Thanos.

As opposed to not being around for Infinity War?

Black user here. I wont be going to go see it and I don't care. I have far better kino shows/movies scheduled for this year that will stimulate me and other anons as to great sci-fi visions/stories of a future unfolding. I progressed passed cultural/ethnic identities when I became an individual empowered by stronger ideals.

I just don't care, desu. it has nothing to do with it being majority black, though. I haven't seen a marvel movie in years, and when I did read/watch comics, I didn't go beyond spiderman/x-men.

I'm going to sneak into the theatre to see this, and then talk really loudly the entire way though.

just like a true black person would

>Every Marvel feels the same so I just stopped going to go see them

I'm the same after GoTG 1 and AoU

but the BP and IW trailers are mostly better than the cringeworthy 2017 MCU trailers

still skipping BP, might give IW a chance solely because of villains, even if the comics dragged Thanos through the mud for years with Hackman's Secret Wars but I hear good thing about the Strange writer's Thanos comic

MCU cgi started kino and ended up shitty as fuck.

>long live the kang

bruh

>We how it will be resolved because Black Panther is still around for Infinity War.
That's for the whole MCU because we know none of these characters will die since they are in the next movie, so there is no tension.

What happened to Patrick Warburton?

If it was an action movie starring characters who happened to be black, then yes, I would probably be interested.

Personally I don't give a shit about capeshit after ironman 3, I am just here to watch the glorious shitflinging tbqh.

Black Panther brings nothing to the table. All it does is introduce Wakanda where its just the birthplace of illegal vibranium trading and rape. This movie is going to bomb so hard. The largest fan-base this movie has is the welfare chimps and last I checked movie theaters don't accept EBT cards.

Of course no one gives a shit about Black Panther, it's getting released in February for fuck's sake.

what the fuck is this garbage? a clip from Inhumans?
