I don't care about the politics, P&R is better written than The Office, and unlike the Office it didn't rely on constant jokes about it being a mockumentary

Instead P&R has the same scenario for literally no reason and does it in a way that makes no sense, and the only reason they do it is because The Office did it and P&R used to air right after The Office

First couple of episodes where bad, then it was good. Then it turned back again in the last season, maybe last two seasons? Don't exactly remember. The same can be said about The Office, I suppose.

It is absolutely better written, the characters are much more fleshed out and better explored than any characters in The Office outside of Michael Scott. Also Jim and Pam were truly awful after season 3 maybe, and the later seasons focused on those two characters which made the show completely and utterly unwatchable

Ron Swanson and Andy are the only good characters and the latter is mainly because of how good the actor is at that role
