You still have to be lucky and get on the good side of someone who has invites. There are barely anyone with invites anymore, they shut down invites pretty much entirely after some autistic sperg tried bringing in the copyright police and caused a 6 months down time, domain change and loss of a considerable chunk of the community.

A friend recommended it to me and I was very confused because the first 2/3rds of the movie were nothing like he described but once you finish the entire film the descent into madness and the movie's themes become contextualized.

My guess is that VIP ranks and admins can invite, and no one else. I got an invite because I made some posts on the icmforum about a few old movies I had that were considered lost, and a KG VIP threw me an invite within a day so I could upload them there. If you want an invite then I suggest you do something like that, or offer some ratio on other trackers you might be on.
