I feel I made some improvements between this and the last page. The anatomy is a bit better and the backgrounds have a bit more going on.
I'm not so good at drawing complete circles so I've been using the default photoshop speech bubble shape. Are there any (free) alternatives for lettering and boxing my text?
How's the dialogue? How's the composition?

Welp no better time than the present, but I'll start my webcomic now.
The idea? Just make something I plan to update daily, so the art will be inconsistent, but the intention is to give me a reason to be drawing every day, or at least every other day. So I can improve.
I barely have a script, so I'll be pretty much making up as I go. So here we go

also in the early HYW i tried doing a native american webcomic about a mayan girl, it only lasted one page before i scrapped it, but i think i just hyped myself up into doing a native american story about native american mythology, because no one has ever really done it before, there have been tons of native american animations and stories but none that focus on native american gods and goddesses like you see with thor or hurcules, so im gonna do, im gonna be the first to do it. i havent done any research on it yet but im going to fucking do it!
as far as i know, without doing ANY research yet, is native americans worshiped giant birds and dragons and shit, thats why they wore feathers in there head because its how they worshiped there giant bird gods, like vikings wore horned helmets to worship Loki and go into battle with the luck of loki and they drew runes on there swords and hammers because thor had runes on his hammer and odin had runes on his spear.... think about it!

I'm having a hard time choosing a free site where to get my webcomic published once I actually get some pages done, mostly because I don't like many of the options. At this rate I may decide to use Tapas if ony because it's easier to use and everyone has mirrors there anyway. I have shit investment skills so I have no money to use immediately on a wordpress.org site.
Also use Facebook for the Spanish version because of the spic audience.

Well I don't think I may have too much NSFW if at all, but yeah I guess I may appreciate anybody being able to comment. Alt-text is nice flavor but I may be able to live without it for now.
One friend has been insisting that I just use Tumblr, and although I hate their archive system, the use of tags and reblog system may not be so bad. That and I have seen some webcomics there using Disqus which is a bit more friendly in the comment regard.

Just went to look, seems they have some prices out there but you can get a free basic set.

Those 3 genres are the options you can take for your comic (a family sticom with dracula tits for example)
These challenges are about creativity and flexibility of concepts though so you are free to play with any of it as you wish.

I don't understand why the tall girl would react like this, or why sighing girl would talk like that in short cryptic sentences when explaining something that is obviously crucial info. I cannot imagine a conversation between two real human beings going even remotely similar to this

A big part of manga is paneling. Even if you added more detail and screentones, It's best if you stuck with the basics of perspective and anatomy for now and worked on more dynamic angles.

Is there anything I should be concerned about regarding Hiveworks? There was a thread about dead webcomics last night, and someone said that one of the webcomics there wasn't updating because of problems between the creator and Hiveworks.

Oh the comment about "voting Trump"? I think the user was mad because he thought you were bones (who doesn't hide that he is a Trump supporter and is pretty much a troll) I didn't think it was because of the hiveworks deal. At least I understood it that way, was kinda late.

Hiveworks doesn't look too bad all things considered, if anything the only concern is that if you already had your webcomic being hosted somewhere (that is, tapas and others) and you get accepted, you have to pretty much DELET THIS so the new site (which is a brand new website done by hiveworks).
Sakana used to be hosted on Smackjeeves iirc and once they got accepted on HW they did that.
It may be an issue if you care about spamming your comic everywhere but desu hiveworks gets a lot of traffic so I don't think it's a huge problem.
