oh yeah. forgot about him.

what makes a crack ship different to a regular one?

a regular one has some basis, crackships dont

often the ship is a crossover one (no chance of being officially canon)

>Terry and Mayday like each other, but their work as superheroes keeps them from taking things further
>All the constant keeping secrets from each other strains their relationship
>Sometimes, as their costumed alteregos, they team up, and vent their frustrations to one another, not realizing that they're talking to their boyfriend/girlfriend
>They finally learn each others' identities, and after some initial misgivings and drama along the lines of "YOU LIED TO ME!" they become closer than ever

I can dig it. Also, any episode that would involve Peter and Bruce putting the tights back on, or mechsuit in Bruce's case, to save the kids, would be fantastic.

>Villains can't beat Spider-Man, even after he's lost a leg and is past his prime for one reason
>He's gained a powerful new weapon in his absence from crimefighting
>Dad jokes

Thank you for this, it's perfect

That's not a crack ship, user. They interact a lot and have several bonding moments.

Characters in the ship don't interact or barely interact. They're often from different universes. Names come from the idea that you need to be on crack to ship this.

...Whelp. Send the other crackships home; we have a goddang winner.

>Spider-Man upgrading from quips to dad jokes

A regular ship is possible - or even likely. It has basis in canon, it could work, there's a chance it miiight happen.

A crackship is something extremely unlikely or straight-up impossible due to canonical reasons, plot, characterisation, the company reputation, or the characters belongin to different franchises. Often a crackship needs the characters to be rewritten into acting in extremely ooc ways in fan content in order to make it "work", for example. If a ship requires one to mangle and change a character's canon personality, sexual preference etc, it's a crackship
