I remember when they made a big deal about him revealing who he was, then he turned out to be some literally who.

Nobody cared who he was until he put on the mask.

I only vaguely remember this, as I only watched maybe one or two episodes years and years ago.

His whole thing was revealing magician secrets and shit, right?

Yeah he was just a magician who peformed some pretty good tricks. More importantly he also showed how they were done in an era before google had the answer.

Of course once he revealed himself people stopped caring.

for some reason this trick stuck with me with how ridiculous he looked poolside in that outfit.

>tfw the show is on netflix

based

What anime villain is this?

He did nothing wrong.

Val Valentino

SPOILER THAT SHIT

Sorry.I thoughed everyone knew

wtf he's an executive producer on every episode hahaha

in the credits bhahbHBHAHAHAHA

Literally sounds like a porn performer's name.

How nostalgic

You didn't think he was breaking the magician's code for free?

I'd like to think he's still trying to earn money for food doing magic

The tricks he revealed were the most obvious or the most disappointing one. One was that they made an elephant "appear" out of nowhere and a crowd went wild, turns out the trick was that the crowd was in on it and the camera movements hid the elephant as it was on its way.

Shit fucking show in other words.

he was sick of magicians not inventing new tricks, if everyone knows how the old ones are done, it's not really a spectacle anymore

>you thought he really caught that bullet?
>turns out he didn't and just put it into his mouth off camera

That's just an excuse.

Most magic is disappointing user, once you know the trick the wonder is gone and its just Houdini quickly squeezing into a box under the stage
The only "magic" thats still interesting after you find out about it are those physics curios that show something real

I know what you mean but his ones were really disappointing. Regular tricks can still be interesting to learn if they're clever or requires skill (sleight of hand), but his almost always gave the reaction
>What? That's so fucking stupid
Or I had already figured it out before the reveal.

Basically, he didn't reveal any tricks worth revealing.

>reveals tricks that no other magician ever does

Doing magic was my first love as an awkward kid. It's how I made friends. This guy ruined all of it. I was looked at like a retard and ended up doing film instead. Thanks masked illusion nigger.

I only watched this show because of his assistants.

This.

I giggled

How the hell did you get the funds for his tricks as a kid? I know he did the ones that require a lot of cash or specialized equipment to pull off, he didn't have anything that you could do at home.

>endless supply of hot bitches
>gets to hang out with Skinner from X-Files
>spoils other magicians' tricks
THE LIFE

>tfw i downloaded it years before netflix was a thing

That realisation that every single fucking thing is fake but you can't wear enough black to hide your Murican body.

Dude, you just shrink the scale. Instead of disappearing an elephant in front of a crowd, you just get your friends to pretend you made a cat disappeared on film.

>he wore a mask to disassociate himself from the Murrican look

he was too kino for this world

Did anyone expect him to be anyone but a literally who?

This guy knows what's up....

I remember this too. I was confused. Like I was supposed to know him. He said some thing of why he did it, and I don't remember caring about that either

i only watched it for the seedy narrator talking about his assistants

did they kill him afther that ?

soon
