There's a 10 second shot where a character sees its outline through smoke. Instead of going OH MY FUCKING GOD THERE'S A GIANT MONSTER WALKING THE EARTH IM SCARED the character doesn't act like he saw anything at all and puts a lonely white girl in his car. He doesn't reference what he saw at all to her or to the people he's text messaging. Really odd.
