He really had nothing to begin with, which is even sadder.

The Turin Horse
I made $70,000 on crypto. If you're a retard and still falling for the HODL meme you deserve to lose everything.
How do people lose money on crypto? Just buy low and hold.
why is bizjack so funny
>I made 70,000
How long did it take and what was your initial investment?
Let me buy a FUCKING gpu already you fucks
Bought btc between $100-300 and sold at $1k, which is probably where it will end up soon. Took me about 6 months, initial investment $10k plus $2k of cost-averaging until I dumped. After I dumped at $1k, it didn't get back up to $1k for another 2 years. No regrets.
schadenfreude
So you were holding, you just didn't hold indefinitely.
How much are GPU's normally?
I held while it climbed and sold as soon as it dropped (10% off the peak). That's not really what the HODL meme is about. You have idiots down 60% from the peak still HODLing.
TAKE ME DOWN TO PINK WOJAK CITY WHERE THE GRAPHS ARE RED AND THE COINS ARE SHITTY
I bought a 1080 GTX Founders Edition at launch (when it was the top of the line card) for ~$600-700. This was 2 years ago. I could literally resell it used today for the same price. Absurd lol.
Falling down, one of my all time faves
Depends on the model/manufacturer but a normal decent current-gen one shouldn't cost much more than 200 bucks yet they're pushing 1,5k right now
that would be a shit movie user
Not sure how quoting the current price of BTC at 7k+ is retarded, but heres your (You)
Glad you agree.
fucking kek
OHH WONT YOU PLEASE TAKE ME HO-OOH-OOME
JUST A PINK WOJAK LIVIN' UNDER THE STREET BUYING PYRAMID COINS SHILLED BY PAJEETS
I just want someone to give it an honest try
there's been plenty of movies based off of really shitty ideas and yet they still tried
japanese success stories are about overcoming hardship through hard work, not by having an advantage from the get go
average people accomplishing great things, at least for them personally, by overcoming their fears and being brave
not yolo stealing money from "suckers", doing shit at the edge of the law and scamming others, all while having a fucking dashing smile and a yacht
That will be .1 Bitcoin, user. You have some Bitcoin, right?
ONE, NOTHING WRONG WITH ME
good thread
Maybe I misunderstood, but he was claiming BTC itself was worth seven thousand times the US dollar. It's not. Sure, a single coin is, but there's only a few million in circulation, compared to trillions of USD in circulation.
Pink wojak > soyjak > psycho wojak > feel wojak
The Mist
TWO, NOTHING WRONG WITH ME
And yet the USD isn't actually backed by any physical good.
Also, if you consider it is backed by the US "economy", that is also a worthless assessment since the US national debt is well over 20 trillion and is constantly growing.
So, ironically, BTC ends up being worth more than the USD as a whole. Really makes you think
IDIOT. The USD is backed by the economic output of entire US workforce, at the point of a gun enforced by the federal government. How STUPID can you be?
this is /biz/ economics everyone, you'll notice he hasn't a fucking clue how actual currency and trade works, let alone even microeconomics.
THREE, NOTHING WRONG WITH ME
No, you're misunderstanding him. That value is pure speculation and is driven by how much the rest of the world thinks what your currency is valued at i.e The Forex
These are the people giving you financial advice on /biz/
Samurai Rauni
Nailed it.
Yes and that speculation is based on the FACT that the USD is the official enforced-by-law legal tender for the entire US economy. What the fuck is Bitcoin the basis of? Pink fucking wojaks!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
That's not my point. The currency value isn't some mathematical exact formula where for example GDP x population / employment rate etc. Its based solely on what the world thinks your currency is valued at. An example is the dollar diving down its value during the 9/11 attacks. GDP and all its numbers are the same but the perceived view of the world drove down the $ value.
hello sirs have you heard of this very exciting new coin called chainlink
