How accurate is this?

...

ah, the Sup Forums/reddit dichotomy
you're probably an american who believes that good and evil are the only possible causes and outcomes

My general observations are that people who like the original Blade Runner are incredibly disingenuous about it and are only liking it because it appeared on "Top 10 best sci-fi movies ever" lists. Their actual appraisal and opinion on the movie is shallow and uninformed.

On the other hand, people who like 2049 seem to be genuinely enthusiastic and positive about the movie.

Moral relativists like you deserve to get buried alive.

BR2049 is better, just like reddit is better than Sup Forums :^)

I'd put both into the reddit territory. The Bland Runner franchise as a whole is quite indigenous.

Put both BR's in Sup Forums.
Put Star Wars in Reddit.

Hey brainlet, thinking morality isn't binary != moral relativism. You should stop parroting words you hear coming from other peoples mouths and try to articulate something that you actually understand yourself.

old blade runner was very boring

I liked PKD books a lot better

the original Blade Runner was one of my favorite films and honestly 2049 is better. Blade Runner would have been a better movie if they got anyone other than Ridley Scott to direct.

>morality isn't binary != moral relativism.

I love video games and prefer 2049
My mom prefers reading about 2 books a week and the original Blade Runner

I don't know, am I Reddit if I've never been on the site but am still a brainlet?

>that image
The same reddit tier ideals as saying logan is above capeshit

fucking based

Let's put this to rest. They're both decent websites, but Sup Forums is better.

On reddit everyone worries about how they're portrayed, they censor themselves, their thought process is "how should i word this post to get the maximum amount of upvotes?" or "which opinion is more popular". Reddit is not an honest site, people are so self conscious of their personal image on their profiles and whatnot and it hinders the sites credibility. Sup Forums is simply better because we're all anonymous who can speak our mind (if the janitors aren't being fags) and not worry about "who's gonna see this on my profile?" you think it's trolling but 80% of the time the posts you see here are what we actually think, it's the harsh truth.

THIS

>you think it's trolling but 80% of the time the posts you see here are what we actually think, it's the harsh truth.
I'd rather belive this is all trolling because otherwise it would man most people here are literally retarded or sociopaths who need help.

Also it's not laid out by retards. I spent one hour on reddit and it felt like ten because of how fucking stupid its UI is.

reddit: blade runner
Sup Forums: maze runner

Whatever you say, buddy. Stay DENIS'D

I havent made a constructive, truthful or meaningful post in years. This one included

It doesn't matter, it's an autistic opinion.

>tries to lecture about relativism
>but muricans r dum :P

It's the other way around. Redditors blindly praise the original because it is le 80s classic that's referenced in muh rick and morty cartoons when in reality it's a basic as fuck story that has zero to do with the ideas redditors think it does (plebs for some reason think they're still robots in the movies).

Meanwhile Blade Runner 2049 is boring to the average redditor because it's entirely about the thematic structures rather than a generic noir story and has yet to be referenced to death in pop culture so they're not interested.

Blade Runner 2029 is also ok for contrarians on Sup Forums to like since SJWs hate it and it made fuck all money.
