CAN'T FIGHT THE FRICTION

CAN'T FIGHT THE FRICTION

...

CAN'T TAKE THE PRESSURE

>tfw saw MI:1 in theatre because of based DePalma
>tfw Tom Cruise in Fallout will be only 5 years younger than Voight was in MI:1

where the fuck does the time go lads?

I know, mate. Seems like yesterday I was watching adverts for M:I:III. How does he do it? Kino after Kino. It's almost like he's on Cruise Control...

yeah i remember being so hyped to see MI:2 because John Woo and it being made here, while it's defo the worst of them i still like it, I remember being on internet boards before release, was the first time i remember the internet pooling resources to find out info and whatnot on a film / show

Another Cruise Action Kino, can he be stopped?

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE

Henry Cavill is probably the most handsome man in Hollywood right now. Definitely top 5 at least.

I actually don't think I've ever watch the first two movies. I've seen parts of M:I:2 but I don't recall ever fully watching it. May give it a go sometime, actually. I still think M:I:III is the best of the series, though I love the others nonetheless. I think M:I:III captured a lot of what I loved about blockbusters and what they lack these days. That bridge scene is one of my favorite moments in action cinema.

time flies man. funny thing is that I was too young to see the first one in the theater so I wanted to watch it on free tv in 98 or so. on that exact fucking evening, my mom's aunt had to come by and literally talk all the fucking evening while I was trying to watch the movie. I remember never having been so angry and annoyed while watching a movie in my entire life. turned the channel halfway through and ever since, I have never watched the first movie again, nor have I watched the other ones. pretty much the only action franchise out there that I have never watched

Just rewatched the trailer, was impressed the first time but what I really now think is this could possibly be one of Tom's all time top movies. It looks like his action movie skills have broken a plateau, he looks like the best action star ever. Acting while spinning out a car irl, that pistol draw, obviously the jump/ankle shot, and in the bathroom fight scene there's a brutal elbow from Tom that looks as good as superman's spuds. He's just been doing this shit so long and only going harder. Is there something about scientology?

It's such a breath of fresh air. It was a fairly simple trailer showcasing their stunts and locations but it's such a contrast to what you see in other "action" movies, where entire sequences are rendered on computers.

this is totally going to sound like i'm sucking Cruise's balls, but the dude knows how to make an action movie. i watched in an interview with him that he watches AT LEAST a movie day. that's pretty much learning the craft and seeing what mistakes you don't want to do. scientology or not, the dude is honestly trying to make movies that he would watch. the mummy on the other hand...i don't know what the fuck he was thinking. most likely wasn't even his project to begin with.

>the mummy on the other hand...i don't know what the fuck he was thinking. most likely wasn't even his project to begin with.

>tfw I really liked the Mummy, and makes me sad we won't see rest
not same Indiana Jones inspired adventure like dozens of other
modern times, unlike shitload of WW2 era movies
obviously hot mummy chick with clever and unique design
Tom doing his best, his zero g plane stunt, fighting ISIS
and, unpopular opinion here, loved how he plays unlikeable asshole, casual jerk. Almost all movies push for typical charming hero, while here he's just like a random guy

SO EASE IT NOW

>lanklets and minorities sit in the back

kek'd

this scene would go well with the Inception soundtrack

One is pretty much what you expect from a re-imagining of that time period. It's good but dated.
Two is arguably bad depending on how you feel about John Woo masterbating.
