nothing short of cartoonkino

Pure kino, the only TV show I watch (bought all the seasons on iTunes after (((Fox and Netflix))) took it off (((Netflix)))). No show that lasts for 13 seasons is going to be perfect, however, and I generally dislike the later seasons, but some people like them and that's fine. Seasons 2-6 are what animation was made for.

I find it dull at times, but that's excusable since it promotes wholesome values.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand King of the Hill.

GOAT tier cartoon and a quite unique show, one that for the most part doesn't "need" to be animated, it's so grounded in reality. Their freakin jaws move when they open their mouths for chrissake.

faggot

I think it was too American for me. I could see why some people would enjoy it. But for me it was basically unwatchable.

living near Dallas it feels way to close to home for me to be able to watch it. I can't stand it.

>ywn see henk get ipad in your lifetime

why even exist on "earth" planet

My fiance and I have always loved it, and we often relate characters and events to real world examples.

good show that had a realistic approach to its artstyle and animation. here's the notes that animators had it's pretty interesting.

my favorite cartoon show and my favorite show of all time behind twilight zone

Better than The Simpsons.

Great. I always thought that Hank was always on the right, but rewatching the show he did fucked up a lot of times and it was his fault, like when Bobby wasn't able to hunt a deer because he didn't wanted to spend time with him. Yeah, Bobby is a pathetic loser, but hunting would had straighten him up a bit.

>On the surface just a redneck
Do people actually believe this? I'd say he's boring and has some redneck friends but even on the surface Hank is just a run of the mill Texan.

I wanna tiddy fugg luanne

One of the most underrated animated shows in human history. A pure comedic treat.

mom wouldn't let me and my brother watch "adult animations" but KofH reruns came on before she got home from work. so while everyone in my grade would laugh about Simpsons and family guy me and brother looked on as patritions with our KofH fandom...never met anyone my age who watched this.

Didn't appreciate it as a kid, it's a masterpiece. I rewatch it alot, jokes within jokes within jokes. Deeper than you would expect, just wish the later seasons were as good as the first ones.

>blue moon of kentucky keep on shining
best episode

Best American cartoon series, the pinnacle of comedy and societal commentary in it's platform and arguably in general. I hope it will come back some day!

Peggy Hill isn't canon ugly except for her feet

Was bobby retarded or something?

Nah just a proto millennial.

I would've banged LuAnne in spite of her mental retardation due to fetal alcohol syndrome.

I literally wrote a 7 page essay on Hank's relationship with bobby and comparing it with Cotton in my english class.

Got an A

Recently watched the whole series for the first time. All I ever saw before was an episode here or there as a kid when it would be on and my dad would watch it. Its so good

>wholesome values.
anger, hate and manipulation are not wholesome

Wait a minute... how old is this pasta? I saw it in a Mumkey Jones video earlier today.

...

High school or college?

Had no idea they used Korean animators.

college

I could watch it all day, it flows but also sedates you.

the way they draw her nose is part of canon

Later seasons are like an entirely different show, lacks the grit and wit of the early seasons but it's fine viewing, later season episodes are great for background noise while grinding on some vidya, preferably tweeking on adderall too

The first several seasons (I'd say from 1997 until 2003) were excellent, but after Greg Daniels and Mike Judge gave up creative control, the show really started to go downhill. My biggest complaint was how the characters became more and more flanderized as time wore on.

King of the Hill is one of my favorite shows but the later episodes just don't hold up.
I'm also from Texas and they nail some of the quirks in culture and the way people are.

>most of the guidelines are just making sure to do stuff manually so the koreans can't fuck it up
kek

But Hank tried to make up for his mistake, and, even though their "hunting trip" at the resort turned out to be a fuck-all, they had a sincere bonding moment.

Amazing show but the later season ran out of steam pretty bad even having characters act not like themselves just to get them into wacky situations.
All in all though still best animated series I can think of.

He was just weird.

absolutely god tier

Is King of the Hill Kai worth watching ?

>late season KotH was shi-

when does it get worse? i just started season 5

like most shit from that era the poops are better

Hank Hill:

>Blew up the Megalo mart
>Killed Buckley
>Killed Debby
>Gave his son a black eye
>Ran a prostitution ring out of his house
>illegally immigrated from Mexico
>Torched a parking lot full of SUVs
>Stole boomhauers car
>Stole a TANK
>Committed multiple assaults
>FLOODED ARLEN
>Aided and abetted multiple counts of fraud

Why isn't he in jail?

Shut up, Kahn.

Quality declines somewhere around seasons 8-10, but it's still very watchable all the way through.

It has some surprisingly good rule 34. Especially the stuff with Minh.

>patritions

The most relatable show ever made, people today are too scared to tell the story of the white males struggle in an absurdist liberal society

I hated it when I was young and it was airing, but I started watching it lately and it’s great. Lucky brings the show down and ruins Luanne.
