I watch this kino about once a year to remind me what good film looks like, and to trick myself into believing that I, too, might find a place in this world, even if only temporarily. For the tragedy that befalls our protagonist will inevitably occur to me even if I manage to find a purpose for a while. Kurosawa is the best
...
It can't though. Looking at each shot in this grid, none of them are actually very impressive.
...
thanks bro, will watch
seen that many times, looks nothing like that
Heaven & Earth (1990) is a great film, if anyone wants a samurai suggestion
well it ended that's the good part
>no shot of the weird rainbow after he saves the crew from the pirates
...
Woody needs to get his shit together and make a good movie again
>woody
>making more movies
looking at the status surroudnding him right now I doubt it's gonna be happening anytime soon
Oh please user, Polanski and Singer have been making movies for years and Singer is ACTIVELY fucking boys
Touche and yet the amount of people who spoke against Allen is much longer and the story received more coverage (then Singer's at least)
we'll see
Storaro has been doing a great job working with him
wtf that actually looks good
It was shot by the guy who shot Apocalypse Now
Storaro did a great job and the visuals perfectly fit the films tone/atmosphere.

Was shot by maybe THE cinematographer
...
undoubtedly the most aesthetic bay film
i went into this knowing it would be bad and somehow it was even worse than i expected
Anybody like the idea I'm going for here? This is just a first attempt

No?
Based. Do you have Altman's 3 Women and OC & Stiggs?
I like this, as along as each row is consecutive shots in a sequence, and not self-edited. I'd add the film's title screen to the bottom, for reference/completion.
Thanks. Yeah, they are in sequence.
The only one I'm 100% happy with is the bottom, though. I want to have a fourth row, too. I need to take more screenshots.
Anyone have
>Listen Up Philip
>The Wizard
>Gleaming the Cube
>The Passenger
>Ronin
>The Hidden

>ruins his film with horrid CGI flamingos
Absolute hack, a mere imitation of the Italian classics this film takes from
this would be one of the best movies of all time if it weren't for the comedy shit shoved into it
Yes.
Ahh that's the french kino that inspired BR2049.
Ok.
I love these, is there an app or are these hand created in PS?
I made them in paint, desu.
neat, how did you get them to line up neatly w/o a grid, does paint support snapping or just did it by eye?
I didn't enjoy the movie, but the ending is one of the most powerful in all of cinema.

>neat, how did you get them to line up neatly w/o a grid, does paint support snapping or just did it by eye?
They're squares, it's no rocket science. I did it by eye.
These are mine. The Scott Pilgrim one is a bit sloppy but I think the other ones look pretty okay.
>it's no rocket science
It would be extremely tedious for an OCD aspie like me, I need snapping grids.
Source on the movie?
The Prisoner, british television show.
