He killed millions
to save billions
yeah but only fifty hundred and sixty thousands actually mattered.
americans don't count as humans
I'm sorry. That film is shit. The visualizations are tremendous, but the story is boring and tedious.
>fifty hundred and sixty thousands
fuck I meant five hundred and sixty thousands
Not really.
>Films Americans will never give a shit about*
FTFY
>Murricans make films where they kill huge amounts of Germans, Russians, Ragheads and what not.
>Murrican Bay makes a historically inaccurate film where japs attack pearl harbor and attack civilian targets and a hospital which they didn't do
>Murricans make a film where the steal the enigma instead of brits
Ok...
>Miyazaki makes a cartoon where dude invents a type of fighter plane
"HURRR! MURRRICA MURRICA MCDONALDS!"
>>Miyazaki makes a cartoon where dude invents a type of fighter plane
Human guided missile
He's right though. Just like most Ghibli films.
>Common Core not even once
Why not make a movie about the German scientist who created Zyklon B? He can sing and run through the fields, like in The Sound of Music. Fun for the whole family.
why? the theme is universal
I don't really like it though
Because Zyklon B was created by a Jew.
Your side of the war was the wrong one
>wants to stop working as hard, be home more with his wife
>comes home
>immediately starts working, ignoring his wife
Tonni Erdman
Those Chinese villages aren't going to bomb themselves.
you wouldn’t understand what it means to be a man
try me, m8
I saw gladiator and only cried for 20 minutes
>whole thread just shitposts
>tfw actually wanted to contribute something
If you want to be helpful you should get on that German scientist spec.
Have we started the wind?
First of all Zyklon B wasn't really a technical achievement in any way, the zero was
Second of all Zyklon B can't be credited to single guy and it wasn't invented for warfare
Third of all would a movie about Oppenheimer running through the fields be controversial? Because nukes sure are a much more heinous invention than a fighter aircraft.
Fourth of all the movie doesn't glorify warfare at all, it's just a good movie about a mans life
I actually liked it a lot. I grew up with ghibli films so watching this in college was actually amazing, as it was magical on another level. The way he followed his dreams was inspiring and the bittersweet ending was perfect
Saw it in theaters. Always had a fascination with the Corsair from an American perspective. Watched a lot "Baa-Baa Black Sheep" (an old comedy, Hogan's Heroes era) and read about Pappy Boyington.
I didn't actually know that the Americans ripped off the design of the Corsair from the Japanese so that really super interesting. The whole story about Tokyo burning down in the designer's lifetime only for Nagasaki and Hiroshima to get destroyed in his lifetime is just pure suffering.
It's really a story about suffering with hope to keep us going only to suffer more. Such is life I suppose.
>being this fucking triggered by a shitpost
Weebs are pathetic.
