I honestly was until I saw the trailer. Rap music and baby pilots? Fuck that. Between this, Bright, and Rampage its clear hollywood is pushing ghettofication into scifi/fantasy. A genre were it clearly has no place.

Yep. Pacific Rim did terrible numbers in Japan. Skull Island and Godzilla (2014) did slightly better. Though neither are anything to brag about
