TWO SCOOOPS aside, all of the characters that Colbert guest voices are pretty fucking quality. You might not like The Late Show (honestly I think that having to write comedy on real world politics five days a week for the foreseeable future would take its toll on anyone), but it doesn't really make him a bad person, nor does it erase all the genuine comedy Colbert did before that point with stuff like the Colbert Report, which ironically actually worked far better as a satire/critique of modern day Republicanism.
