Why are all the mutants considered part of the same 'homo superior' species when they all have different mutations?

Why are all the mutants considered part of the same 'homo superior' species when they all have different mutations?

Because fuck you, that's why, you dog-raping babykiller.

The X-gene.

Because Magneto's "science" is the equivalent of the Nation of Islam or White Supremacist rhetoric. It's self-serving twisting of the facts to galvanize a sense of identity and hostility to those outside it. Mutants by the proper definition are the same species as humans. Despite the dramatic physical changes, all the difference is caused by one gene that's the reault of Celestial tampering. They're completely able to reproduce with "baseline" humans.

Because they think being homos somehow makes them superiour.

This
Mutants = people who are mutants, that is it

Do civilians care what powers mutants have? No, they're all just mutants

watch yourself buddy, mutants aren't people.

Neither are fags, but we still let you live.

White supremacy is backed up by hundreds of years of European dominance.

Nation of Islam is backed by fantasy

Why does one gene make a different species?

nigga mutants don't make sense anyways

>mutant who was just born with knowledge of every language
>mutant who can control the motherfucking weather

Every living creature on this planet shares over 90% of the same DNA. It's that small remaining difference that sets us apart, which is why it's retarded when people insist all races are the same when there's obvious genetic differences between them.

A Brown Bear is able to reproduce with a Polar Bear but they are still recognised as different species.

90% similar among mammals maybe. Things like plants and starfish it's more like 70%.
The main problem for racist trying to justify their shot with genetics is that skin colour is a very poor indicator of genetic difference. Populations in Africa are very diverse but still get grouped together as "black" while populations in Eurasia are much less diverse but get divided along fairly arbitrary lines

It's comic canon that Professor X himself invented that term in his college doctorate paper's thesis that a new sub-species of super-powered human would evolve to supplant humanity.
At the time the only mutant he was aware of was himself, so he naturally assumed all the genetically created superpowers would be like his, but he kept things vague so that he wouldn't accidentally out himself as both a mutant and an academic fraud.
So when mutants were finally revealed to the world they all fit that vague criteria for "Homo-Superior".
Technically, whenever a new species is evolving there actually is a vast array of variation and diversity before natural selection weeds out the useless genetic adaptions and there's a more definitive criteria for categorizing the species. Most "mutants" are actually only evolutionary precursors to a new emergent species.
Toad and Magneto might not seem like the same animal, but they both are humans with superpowers.
And both have some psychic abilities, and both have physical biology that heals in ways human bodies can't, and both have bodies that manipulate energy in odd ways.
So both are headed toward the same ideal evolved state of something like Legion or Phoenix, where both one's environment and body are subject to manipulation by their mutant powers using energy metabolized straight from their environments.
But some mutants just aren't there yet.

That's all comic and science sourced knowledge, not like the off-topic Sup Forums crap that's been spewed on this thread so far. Can you see the difference?

Well, even if they have a shit mutation they have a possibility of having a kid with a good mutation.

Take an Aryan for example who's an extreme uggo... but an uggo with blue hair and blonde eyes, he may look like Shrek, he may have horrible acne, jagged little teeth, a club foot and a third ear but even he can help keep the Aryan race alive and continue to pass on those blue eyes and blonde hair even if nothing else about him is a desirable trait.

>muh blue eyes and blonde hair

Jesus fuck, I never knew Sup Forums could be so retarded.

>who cares about good genetics
>who cares aboutbrains
>who cares about a healthy body
>muh blonde hair and blue eyes

Just kys.

>implying "Aryan ideal" is an opinion
Why else would everyone want to fug this bug, if not for the Aryan ideal?

1. Cartoon science
2. Species is defined as "can produce fertile offspring", so mutants are still sapiens
3. It is one fucking gene, that doesn't make a whole species

Did I mention that it's cartoon science?

This clears quite a bit up thanks

what makes mutants a race?
how can mutants be a race? they are by definition people who experienced some sorth of mutation, an abnormally
you arent going to tell me that laser guy and ice guy both share the same distinctive change in their dna, that makes 0 sense
also how does mutation carry on from father to child if it is a mutation? it should at least require two mutant parents

don't know why but I laughed
fpbp

lol

Are the resulting offspring sterile? If so then they're still different species. If not then medieval scientists fucked up and the two bears are the same species.

Celestials did it, I ain't gotta explain shit.

>what makes mutants a race?
the x-gene

The real question is why people hate mutants to the point of attempted genocide where as pretty much every other super human gets a pass

I always liked that running joke that civilians think Spidey may or may not be a mutant. Marvel should make an else worlds where every hero is revealed to have been mutants all along and the public turns on them fucking instantly

hhuh

Because of a sentient bacteria or some shit.

Retarded Sup Forums faggot, that is an alien not even human.

That's like saying lactose tolerant people are a race because they have a gene which gives an ability.

Because Marvel doesn't understand genetics even slightly. Literally the only Mutant who got the whole relationship between Humans and Mutants right was Cyclops.

Ironically he abandoned it around the same time people began spamming about him being RIGHT.

Are Power Pack mutants?

Ultimate X-Men sorta handwaved this with the evolved animal mutants; they claimed to be apart from the homo superior category iirc.

Of course this doesn't get into the issue of why a guy made of ice and a guy who has bone claws are the same species and equally apart from baseline humans. I suppose it could be a "homo sapiens sapiens" situation where specific members of the homo sapiens species are technically deemed "homo sapiens superior".

Or people just didn't read enough biology.

Genetics

Magneto went to the same biology class as Liquid Snake.

Honestly, they should label anyone with an active X-Gene as an X-Man (not the team name, but describing humans who have their superhuman potential unleashed thanks to Celestial gene-tampering).

In the grand scheme of things, Mutants aren't all that special when there's Eternals, Deviants, Atlanteans, Inhumans, Mutates, and other super-powered groups that originate from Homo Sapiens thanks to the Celestials. Mutants like to spout out that they're the future yet non-X books repeatedly refute this notion.

Are humans really the proto platform for other races....?

Because those other characters who gained their powers through science/extraordinary tend to neatly divide themselves up into the roles of superheroes or super-villains, that usually operate on another level pretty detached from the life of your average joe.

Mutants however, are just as shit-tier as every other retarded normie, but clamor on about how they think they're entitled to "equal human rights" despite boasting about being "Homo Superior", and get offended every time somebody wants them to sign up for a registration or otherwise tie them down to any accountability for using their extremely dangerous and unstable abilities.
