The Gingerfellas saga continues as Agent Adams pressures Archie to plant a wire on Hiram to connect him to Poppa Poutine's death by threatening to have Fred arrested. Archie tells Hiram everything, and it turns out Agent Adams was a goon playing a long con to test Archie's loyalty. Since he didn't snitch, he is officially welcomed into the Lodge Crime Family, and realizes he's made a huge mistake.
Betty helps her mother cover up the shady man's murder, but gets PSTD from it and asks Jughead and FP for help. FP dissolves the shady man in acid. Betty starts growing suspicious of Chic, who is pulling the long con to alienate Hal from the family.
Cheryl tells Betty about her father's affair with Cheryl's mother.
Mayor McCoy resigns to prevent Hiram from throwing her under the bus due to her affair with Sheriff Keller due to their falling-out over Hiram's gentrification conspiracy.
